Jamaa Journal VOL. 197: Storming the Fortress

Hello everybody! Today is an update day, so let's begin reading the newest Jamaa Journal.

A new adventure is here to continue the story of the Alphas and the fight against the phantoms! :D Hooray! I'll probably (hopefulyly) post a bit more about ''Storming the Fortress'' later on.

Members are now allowed to have up to 1,000 animal slots! That's insane! Imagine going from member to non-member and having to redo all of your animals' looks. Yikes. >.< And wouldn't it be hard to have soooo many animals? Nevertheless, it's still pretty neat.

We asked for it, and we got it - an OCEAN DIAMOND SHOP! It's not like the regular Diamond Shop you see in Jamaa Township, however. It's much smaller, and it's incorporated into two different shops: Bahari Bargains and Sunken Treasures.

One quick little thing I noticed...

That's right - UNDERWATER SPIKED COLLARS AND WRISTBANDS. How awesome is that!? :D

I bet you guys NEVER saw it coming. Sarcasm intended. :P

Pet piglets are back in Jamaa, as well as the Ol' Barn den!

Pet giraffes are available for all Jammers! Yippee! Also, now you can display your masterpieces in both land and ocean dens!

We've been given an interesting clue from the Alphas, which means a new animal will be coming to Jamaa soon. Comment down below if you think you've solved it.

The National Geographic Bee is either coming up or going on at the moment, so there are a bunch of flags hanging up around Jamaa.

You can also go to the Temple of Trivia to test your knowledge of science facts.

The final page is an advertisement for the popular Deluxe Stationary Set, which gives you a masterpiece token and a writer's station item for your den!

That's it for today Jammers. What would you rate this update? I personally really liked it, so I'm giving it a 4/5.

Before I end, I just wanted to clear something up. In my last post, I talked about a contest for 875,000 views and gave the wrong link to the blog. The right link is in the comment section. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE CONTEST IS NOT UP YET. It will most likely open during the weekend.

Thanks for reading! Bye!

  3. I actually get really excited about new educational things on AJ.

I think the last Temple of Trivia Geo Bee was in 2012, and I liked it because the Temple of Trivia is normally disappointingly easy for me, being my favorite game, but I could not get a single geography question right! XD

I was sad when I thought it would never return– but here it is! I'm so happy. :D

Too bad AJ only really advertises items and merchandise when there are SO MANY more facets of the game that are truthfully its core.

    Great post as always, Nafaria!

    1. I enjoy it when AJHQ adds more educational content too! It just kinda gives me a sense of relief that they're not all about the items and new animals and are still trying to keep the educational aspect of the game going. Thanks for your input! ^.^

    1. I know right? In my opinion, the whole 1000 animal slots is kinda unnecessary and inconvenient, but I suppose it will have to do. If only they would give NMs more slots too.

    2. Yeah i understand the 1000 item slots but why would anyone want 1000 animals? Im nm and i want to buy a tiger an make a clan look but i have a koala and seal that im very attached to.

  7. i think it might be a dingo or jackal, because canidae has to do with relatives of dogs such as wolves and foxes, in which a dingo and jackal are both considered canidae.

    1. Interesting! I really hope you're right, because a jackal, dingo, or even a fennec fox would be awesome.
