Balaur:
When I was little, my sister used to tell me stories around the fireplace in our old, small house. She was a raccoon, like me, and she had the most beautiful, sparkling sapphire eyes. Her fur was often dirty from the long hours she spent as a custodian, but her voice was so soft and beautiful, like the cry of a nightingale. Her woven tales had inspired me to write my own stories, but they never were as good as hers. They were so well told that, to this day, I still remember every single detail of them. Every animal had their own Heartstone, which were individually kept in the many temples that the animals had built to worship Zios, the Sky King. But as time passed, and Zios died, Mira’s grief birthed the Phantoms, who destroyed the society and landscape of Jamaa, for they were created out of the emotions hatred, sadness, and disbelief.
I remember every story she told me. I really do. She learned them from her time working as a custodian in the History Museum. Although she was only there to help clean, she acted like she was a real part of the museum’s community. She took her time off to listen to the history of every object and legend present in the museum, and once her shift was over, she would come home and tell me by the crackling light of the fireplace. I was so mesmerized by her stories, every weekend, she would take me down to the museum and show me the objects that had inspired her so. But, for many years, I thought that Mira and Zios were nothing but characters of folklore.
Not anymore.
When I was about seven years old, I got home from school, eager to see my sister. But once I creaked our small, wooden door open, there was dead silence in the house. I had assumed at the time my sister was simply late from work, so I simply waited inside the den and began to pile the firewood in the corner, eager to hear one of her stories by the light of the fire. But, several hours later, nothing but the soft, breezy wind came through my doorway. I began to get nervous. There was only one place my sister could’ve been; the museum where she worked at. I instantly raced out of our small, wooden den and headed down a thin, dusty pathway that lead to the museum. My heart was racing inside of my chest. What if she had gotten lost or kidnapped? What if… What if she had been killed? By… Phantoms…? My small, young raccoon self was struggling to keep running. I had cramps in my sides. I caught barely breathe, I had been running for so long. Yet, I kept going, running down the pathway to my sister. The pathway to hope. But the real thing that kept me going was the calm breeze, as it whistled a quiet, soft tune like the sound of my sister’s voice.
After about two miles, the breeze began to fade, as the sound of cries began to get audible. Then, the sound got louder. Louder and louder. The cries turned into screams, and the smell of smoke began to fill the air. Then, fire began to whip the air. The museum came into sight, but it was not what it had been before. Its dark bocote walls were reduced to ashes by the scorching flames, Pottery shards covered the floors. More than a hundred people were lined outside, all screaming, all yelling all crying. Within the sea of animals of all shapes and sizes, not a single one ended up being my sister. I began to panic. What if she had perished in the blaze?
“Where’s the janitor?! Please, help me! She’s my sis-” I cried out, before stumbling over something and falling flat on my face in the charred grass in front of my. After I regained my balance, I found what I had tripped over was simply a wooden chest, which had, oddly, not been touched by the fire at all. It remained perfectly intact, its wood not burnt in the slightest, its gold trimming around the edges still shining back the reflection of the flames. My body trembled as I slowly lifted the lid of the chest.
Then I saw it. It was the mask. The large, golden mask that was always seen on Zios’s face. The legend itself. And, as I slowly extended my paw to touch it, somebody behind me screamed. “DON’T TOUCH IT! IT WILL RETURN!”
I suddenly turned around, only to find a lavender-coloured otter, who was covered in burns, behind me. “The mask… It came for the mask. It did this to the museum. It did this…” Her eyes filled up with tears. “It did this to your sister.”
She came out and extended her arms out to me. I did the same. I didn’t know her at all, but I spent a long time just sitting in her arms, crying, hoping that the pain would go away. But it never did.
Misterfrizzy:
It was the summer of 2010. ALL animals lived in peace and harmony, until one day, phantoms took all the birthstones, and along with that, zioz's spirit. Mira disappeared in search for this spirit, but the phantoms hid it quite well, So to this day, it is up to the alphas to find the birthstones, and restore most of what was once jamaa.
Harmonypurr9:
Mira Ran off, she wanted to find Zios for he was sucked into the portal.
The portal closed leaving Mira and Zios together, Mira loved Zios. Soon the phantoms killed Zios and Mira got the plague. She was going to pass as well. Soon she became the Phantom Queen as if the sickness was caused by her own self.
Let that be a lesson to you, don't become a phantom, phantoms are scammers and hackers. They got the sickness as well and suffered the consequences.
Meganfurryfun37:
"Zios. You have given me all your knowledge of the now, but none of ancient Jamaa. Please tell me"
"well, I don't know. It is a dark topic. A prickly subject. Even in the sky kingdom where we rest when our duties are done, we still feel scared of the past."
"But you are ZIOS! You defeated phantoms! You created Jamaa itself!"
Zios stared at the wolf and sighed.
"well, I better tell you.
Long ago, I left for Earth. I was on a mission. Back then, we had no technology. No computers. No game machines. No anything. So I went to discover how humans used this technology. How it worked. Mira was away at the time in the wolf district, helping out with the fallen pine trees, so I left a note on the door. It must have flown away though, as Mira had no idea where I was. In panic and confusion, an oil canister (for use with the technology i was yo return with) was knocked into the volcano. The lava turned purple and..."
"wait. How the badoodles do you know this if you were away?"
"never mind that for now. Anyhow, the oil reacted with the volcano to form purple goop which turns animals to rouge phantoms on impact. From the oil and Mira's tears of missing me, phantoms were created. Mindless creatures of chaos, they plagued Jamaa. Mirab left to the Cheetah district to spread the news fast, when I returned. Curious of the purple goop dripping from the volcano, I sent 3 explorers. I didn't see them again, but they had a mission. Destroy Jamaasian culture and legend. And-" he paused "they succeeded. Slowly the phantoms manipulated the world to believing they couldn't survive without Mira and I. Jamaa collapsed. Until the heartstones, spirit stones, restored it."
"so where IS Mira now?"
"watching. Watching you all"
And so Zios dissapeared. Back to the sky kingdom. Back to Mira.
maddiebook3:
After Zios fell and Mira ran off, Jamaa was ruined. Animals of all kinds stopped being friendly, and they all became rude scammers. Most people left Jamaa, for the beauty of the place was no longer. Some animals that stayed in Jamaa and weren't scammers and hackers were the Alphas. They have been searching desperately for Mira, so they could bring peace and harmony back to Jamaa. But it seemed hopeless, for she was no where to be found.
Mira, as grief filled as she was for Zios, knew what had happened to Jamaa. But she could not bring herself to go back and save the place from its wretched state. She had been searching for ways to save Zios from his terrible fate, but she knew it was hopeless as well. Mira knew she couldn't face the angry Alphas and the nicer animals that escaped the now dark Jamaa, so she flew off. She flew to a place where no one would find her. A.. deserted place.
Landing down in a desert, she looked around for water and a place to stay. When she found what she desired, she made a home there in that forgotten desert.
After a while, she knew that some explorers would find the place. So she hid, deep within the desert where no regular animal could go. But as she left, she left glittering jewels in her path. Different colors, shapes, and sizes. She landed on some cacti without being hurt, and if you do the same something wonderful would happen. Soon enough, explorers did find the forgotten desert, and they sent eagles off to explore it. Mira is still there, hiding from her mistake. Her grief for Zios. She brought herself to bring color back to the town, and everything was bright again. But some animals stayed dark. They stayed scammers. All animals have tried to bring Mira back, but she will forever stay hidden, watching over Jamaa...
swirlshine:
I want to return to Jamaa. I want to, but I can't. Why, you wonder? I'll start from the beginning.
When Zios was...with me...I was happier than I'd ever been. Together, we created the wonderful land of Jamaa. But then...the phantoms came. Once Zios was gone, news spread to the Jamaasians, and they became distraught and filled with fear. From all this chaos and negative emotions, scammers and hackers emerged. As I watched over the years, more and more jammers became evil and greedy, and I couldn't do anything but watch, for I do not control the animals of my world. I only protect them, and try to set them on the right path. But...I had failed to do my duty. So I left.
I went to the Phantom Fortress to talk to King Gorger. But he wanted nothing to do with me. He even trapped me in his dungeon, but I escaped a few days later. I had had no food or water for many days, but I flew on, dehydrated, starving, and tired beyond measure. Then finally, I reached a lush, beautiful forest. I was amazed. A new place where no stress, pain, or disorder existed! I eventually met other herons, and now we live together, in our peaceful home.
Maybe one day I'll return to Jamaa. But I don't want to be judged for the evil animals' sins. I can only hope that someday, someday very soon, a new hero will rise, and restore Jamaa to the amazing place it was before...
RMCkkd92:
Mira's beak trembled as she watched all of Jamaa. Destruction and disastrous rained through. She was MIRA, the PROTECTOR yet, now she was the destroyer. Mira knew not of how she had did this, she only knew the Phantoms were the effect of her grief. Her wings started flapping, all the way back to the Crystal Palace.
She stared at the great crystal immbended into the wall. Filled with power, it protected the castle, where she left many mystical stones. They had a power lumming by them. She grabed her collection of fairly mysterious stones and started binding them to staffs. Soon, she had many all piled up. Now, it was time to call Liza.
Mira never really new why she had taken a liking to the young Panda. Maybe it was seeing sweet Liza alone as a child, or maybe it was just her excitement towards helping animals that had made Mira want her as a apprentice. Either way, Mira was happy to have her. For the first time in weeks, Mira felt joy. But, that joy was squashed. Mira knew this was not a time for joy.
Ducktapets:
Zios cam crashing to the ground. His surface, no longer pretty. His surface crumbly and dirty, gouged into the grassy surface near the Lost Temple. I started to cry. Praying to the heavens up above, I wished that this was all a dream. I woke up surrounded by purple sludge inside a cave. I found an opening of the cave. I looked out, seeing Jamma. Not colorful. All purple. I could see purple objects moving. I started to fly out of the cave, but turned back. I was too scared to face the Purples. The next day, I woke up to Valentina (Eagle Alpha) speaking. I looked around, searching for the Alpha. I looked down and remembered a special necklace placed around my neck by Valentina. I touched the necklace. "Mira, you are needed. We have yet to find what these creatures are. Remember. You are the most powerful animal in Jamaa." the necklace sang out. Just then, I knew my service was needed. Badly. I flew to Jamaa flying through purple rain. I stopped to rest in Jamaa Township to let my wings rest. Purples spread around me, circling me like a shark. I feared for my life. I shook off all the rain off my wings and spread them apart. I started to move my wings, until I saw the biggest Purple of all. "I am the Phantom King! Stop attacking at once!" he boomed shaking the ground. I froze. The Purples are called Phantoms..... The other Alphas has been studying the Phantoms for days trying to figure out their names. I spread my wings to take flight, but I was stopped forever. The Phantom King had cast a spell on me. Struggling with all my might, I couldn't move. All the phantoms left out of sight. Still there today, hoping a Jammer will save me. Some day, I will come and save Zios and all the Phantoms will be gone forever. Until now, goodbye. Keep me company at Jamaa Township.

☆ Prologue ☆
It was a fine day in the realms of space, when, out of nowhere, Zios, the father of what we know of Jamaa today, felt lonely. He didn't know what to do to cure his boredom.
He decided that he would make a stunning, excellent blue heron. Her name would be Mira, quite excellent. He also created two blueberry muffins, to serve them both with delicacy. They had wonderful, beautiful, blue icing, with just the right hint of blueberries inside. "Out of my power and will, create a stunning blue heron named Mira! And bring two delicate blueberry muffins," Zios chanted.
Poof, there was Mira. She was stunning, and had the power to change with the seasons. What comes next, that's a mystery.
☆ Chapter One☆
Mira and Zios lived wonderfully for months, racing in space to find the perfect spot to magic a dream land, one with curious animals, one that would be controlled by the pair's mind. One day, September 9th, 2010, to be exact, Mira got the idea of making the land right by the other planets, but not too close, or else their creators would get upset.
The pair created their land with a poof. Mira made it so the lands would be beautiful - almost like you were in a dream, it was so beautiful - and Zios made the island, named Jamaa, civilized with six animals - wolves, bunnies, monkeys, tigers, koalas and pandas.
Everyone was living in peace, until one day. That day happened to be one year after the creation of Jamaa.
☆ Chapter Two ☆
That one day came. Animals were fighting, some, which are known as banned today, were killed like dominoes falling limply. Jammers were fighting, and Mira and Zios didn't know what to do. Another day, approximately 3 years from the start of the fiasco, the animals were still fighting.
A snarling wolf attacked a scared bunny. A ferocious tiger pinned down a koala who was rushing to his den. It was monstrous. Zios was rushing to several fighting pairs and told them to stop, but it was no use. Every time Zios asked, the winning animal of the pair injured Zios. Mira was witnessing it all, even when Zios fell over, and he was dead.
Mira was sad. Mira came out of her hiding - Mira didn't want animals knowing she was a creator of Jamaa, that she had created all of the beautiful lands and plants that were now crushed or covered in debris from knocked-over dens from frantic prey. "BY THE POWER OF ZIOS, I INFORM YOU THAT ZIOS HAS DIED," Mira shouted angrily. The animals gasped in shock, gazing around at what they had created. Zios was lying around a crushed monkey statue, and all the monkeys moved away the pieces. That was the start of the memorial of Zios.
☆ Chapter Three ☆
Animals buried Zios in the realms of The Lost Temple. All of the animals decided that The Lost Temple would be named The Lost Temple of Zios, in honor of Zios. Mira flew up to her sky kingdom, the area not discovered until the migration of eagles - November 6th, 2014. This was long after The Phantom Invasion.
The Phantom Invasion, you say? The invasion happened when Mira cried. She cried because Zios was gone. Zios was dead, and now his mask lay in The lost Temple of Zios. Mira was always horrified of The Lost Temple of Zios, she thought it was unsafe. And indeed it was. Phantoms squirted out of the animals' water pipes, and they started to make a circle around the animals.. But only six were able to get out.
Those six were Peck, a bunny, Liza, a panda, Cosmo, a koala, Graham, a monkey, Greely, a wolf, and Sir Gilbert, a tiger. Mira rushed to them and called them out as Shamans, the leaders of their kind. Phantoms took all of the Heartstones, a crystal that keeps the animals alive, and tossed them deep into the oceans. That's why underwater animals came - so they can look for the missing Heartstones. Mira told the Phantoms to destroy the Blue Heron Heartstone - she didn't want any other blue herons in Jamaa - and bury it in every ground land.
☆ Chapter Four ☆
Mira was outraged. She saw animals digging up land to make room for buildings. She didn't want them finding their Heartstones. After the Phantoms were defeated, Mira died. It was Zios's prophecy that after he died, Mira would cry, and Phantoms would emerge from all of the water sources and ruin them. Then, Mira would die when the Phantoms were defeated. Jammers found out, and they worshipped her by placing a model of Mira on a stand, and painting it to change with the seasons.
Jammers also built a beautiful statue of Mira on her former home, the Sky Kingdom. All Jammers can visit there, with a ride from the flying Jammers, first. New flyers are trained by the eagles; they started this trend of bringing Jammers up. They all followed Mira's prophecy, of everyone being kind, and they found Heartstones and put them around Zios's memorial. This brought new animals to Jamaa.
Mira also has a power. New Jammers that come to Jamaa always worship her first. Before they are greeted by Peck, Sir Gilbert tells them the story. This story, right here.
☆ Epilogue ☆
Today, there are over 50,000,000 Jammers. Old ones help the new, and then those new Jammers help other new Jammers. The Shamans, who have gained their more powerful names, as of the death of Mira, Alphas, still stand and they are helping everyone to this day.
The lands are thriving with new animals, all exploring. Truth is, the Sky Kingdom den is not Mira's. Mira's Sky Kingdom takes up the whole of Jamaa, up in the skies. Jammers' Sky Kingdoms are just duplicates; the Mira statue plastic and fake. Their Sky Kingdoms show their worship for Mira.
Us Jammers worship Mira and Zios in different ways. Some hold balloons of Mira and Zios. Others dress up as Mira or wear Zios Masks. It doesn't matter if you believe in Jamaa's gods, they are always looking over us.
Zios is haunted by Phantoms; but he still watches Jammers in The Lost Temple of Zios though his mask. Mira's spirit is in her statue, she smiles with pleasure as she changes with the seasons, rewarding the Jammers that paint her with Diamonds. That's why members get a Diamond a week - Mira shows her appriciation.
I hope you learned a lesson, and I hope you enjoyed. Thank you for reading.
☆ The End☆
lily4279:
Ok after Mira had run off, she decided that she would never come back to Jamma or any place where she had once been. Therefore, she had turned evil. After losing her bestie, she created a temple and and ruled over animal slaves. The harsh treatment she had given her slaves caused millions of deaths. A wizard created her a potion of ever-lasting life because that was her husband. Ever since she left Jamma, people have worshipped her. Nobody really knows she is evil.
sugarcat2:
After Zios' fall, Mira flew to a far away cave in the mountains where no animal could find her. She cried and never stopped for anything, even for food and drink. Without realising it, her tears, made with fear and sadness, fell from her beak and onto the ground. Phantoms began to rise from these tears and they quietly left the cave, destroying all nature in their path.
Finally after 3 years mourning for Zios, she emerged from the cave. In horror, she stared at the world around her. Every where she looked, trees were torn down, rivers were polluted, phantoms roamed around scaring all creatures, great and small. Suddenly a phantom spotted her and began to advance at her. Seeing an ancient temple, she quickly dive inside and block the entrance with a stone. Lighting a torch, she sees all the animals in Jamaa, huddling all together in the dark. As if the light-bulb in her head flicked on, she realised what she had done. She knew what she had to do, it was her duty.
Calling the alphas together, they defeated the phantoms. But the work was not done yet. Trees were needed to be planted, rivers were needed to be cleaned up, and there were still more phantoms to capture. Mira then instructed the Alphas to gather all animals together and clean up the mess the phantoms had made.
Soon, Jamaa was beautiful again, and at peace. When Mira saw that everything was right again, she bid everyone farewell and flew back to her sky palace. But before she did, she went to the cave she mourned in and sealed it up with ice, carving a seal at the entrance. This is now the mysterious cave that had always been sealed up in Mt Shiver. Mira was never seen again, but if you dance around the camp fire in Sarepia Forest, you might see Mira's spirit floating around, happy to see peace in Jamaa.
Jammer3l0fj:
Mira circled over Jamaa. The once lovely city was ruined. The phantoms had struck with no warning and had captured the city of Jamaa. All they left was destruction and pollution. The rivers and seas flowed with pollution, the plants had all withered and died, and many animals were sick and dying. Animals were captured, never to be seen again and entire species were being driven out. All of this was her fault. She had created these phantoms! Life had been perfect, life had been so sweet. Zios and her had created Jamaa, a happy and safe place for animals of all kinds. However, life soon took a dark turn. Zios began pulling away he no longer spent as much time with her, he was always busy. Soon she found out why. He had fallen in love with a swan who lived in jamaa. She felt so betrayed, so angry! Her jealousy, her bitterness, her anger came together and created the first Phantoms. She had called them her children, and cared and protected them. She thought they were good that they were a blessing. She never guessed how wrong she was. When Zios discovered them he tried to destroy them, he knew they had the power to destroy jamaa. However, more and more phantoms began appearing, and he sacrificed himself to destroy them. Her anger had turned to grief when she realized what had happened. Her creations were evil, they had killed her husband. New phantoms were born from her tears and the darkness of jamaa. No one had known they were there till it was too late. Now Jamaa was falling apart around her.
The remaining animals rushed over to see her. "Mira your back" Greely, a blue wolf yipped. "We were worried" Sir gilbert, a tiger, added. Liza, a panda, nodded "We were worried something had happened to you" she said. Cosmo,a brown koala, nodded in agreement. She sighed "Don't worry about me, focus on the war. We must find someway to drive these awful phantoms away from Jamaa." she said. They nodded, "Yes Mira" they said. She frowned glancing around, a battle with the phantoms was a suicide mission. The phantoms outnumbered them and the animals were weak already. However, what other choice did they have? It was fight or die, there was no other way unless... She paused glancing at her friends an idea forming in her head. What if she granted these four faithful animals power? It could work... "Greely, Sir Gilbert, Cosmo, Liza... you must listen to me. I have a plan to drive away these phantoms once and for all but it's dangerous. I will give you four powers which will allow you to drive these phantoms away and protect your fellow animals. Then Jamaa will be safe again" she said. They looked stunned. "Us?" Cosmo asked "You choose us out of all animals?" She nodded "Yes Cosmo i choose you four. You are the animals i trust the most, i know you will return Jamaa to what it was before the war!" she said. "I accept your offer Mira. I will fight to the end" Greely said. "I will also fight! These phantoms will wish they never were born after i'm through with them" Sir Gilbert said. Liza nodded "You can count me in!" she said. "If.. if you really want me to i will fight" Cosmo said, his voice nervous. She smiled, and they began to glow. She filled them with power, giving them some of her own abilities. The glow faded and they were ready to face the phantoms. "You are no longer ordinary animals. From now on you are the Alphas, the protectors of Jamaa!" she shouted. They dipped their head to her then began moving toward Jamaa Township to face the phantoms. After hours of fighting they returned, victorious. "What now?" Cosmo asked Mira "Should we start replanting the plants and get rid of this pollution?" Mira sighed "Cosmo, Sir Gilbert, Liza and Greely. It is time you make these decisions for yourself. I can't help you anymore, you must help yourselfs. You are the Alphas, i am just an old weak bird. I am leaving Jamaa, i can not stay here any longer. You are the protectors of jamaa now" she spoke sadly but firmly. "Mira you can't! Mira you must stay! Don't leave us! Mira! MIRA!" the animals cried out. She ignored them and flew into the sky. She dove down into the flames of the fire and vanished into thin air. After that the only animals who ever saw or spoke to her were the new alphas she had chosen. However, her spirit can still be seen in the fire where the animals saw her go.
bluepop777:
It was a stunningly bright day in Jamaa, and jammers of all shapes and sizes frolicked in the sun’s welcoming rays. Normally, on days like these, the majestic blue heron named Mira would glide in the clear skies, giving a serene smile as she watched all the pawsome beach parties at Crystal Sands. Mira usually relished such days of happiness, as she loved seeing all the animals having a great time. After all, Crystal Sands was the purrfect place to hold a party, with its untainted sands and clear waters. Captain Melville’s Juice Hut just made it all the better.
Instead, the heron’s beak was curved downwards, making a depressing frown. Mira’s silky feathers glittered like jewels in the sun as she made her way down to the dreary place in Jamaa known as the Temple of Zios. Not that Mira disliked the Temple of Zios. In fact, it was quite the opposite. The dark, swampy land held tribute to her beloved; Zios.
When the blue heron landed gently on to the ground, she paid no attention to the buzzing wildlife. Instead, she quickly approached the fractured statue that was all that physically remained of Zios. As Mira caressed it with her wings, blue sparks arose from the touch. The heron’s luminous eyes were dulled with sadness, for this was the day that Zios had died. “Oh, Zios…” Mira would whisper in her sweet, melodic voice. “I wish you could be here, right beside me.”
Mira had tried to take her mind away from Zios’ death by watching over the inhabitants of Jamaa, but it didn’t seem to work. Zios was the love of her life, and simply could not be forgotten. Of course, there was a way that Mira could be with Zios, but the great heron had never been too desperate to try. It entailed a magic spell of great power, and would result in her leaving the physical world. Mira knew that Zios still watched over Jamaa spiritually, and the spell would allow her to watch over beside him in an ethereal body.
Yet, Mira had never been so desperate as to do such a thing. The heron knew that the jammers still needed a leader to look up to. But as years had gone by, it seemed as if Mira’s longing for Zios’ presence just became worse.
And it was then and there, gazing at the fallen structure in the middle of the Temple of Zios, that Mira decided that she simply could not bear to be without her beloved no longer. Over the next couple days, the heron made hasty preparations for her departure.
Leaders for each animal were appointed, for balance and fairness. Liza, Greely, Sir Gilbert, Cosmo, Graham, and Peck. Shamans/Alphas ,as Mira had decided to call them. Yes, they were young, but Mira knew that the six would grow to become strong shamans/alphas. Many visits to the Chamber of Knowledge were made as well, to access the spell that Mira had long forgotten. Mira told the chosen six shamans/alphas of her plan, and no one else. “I have to do this,” Mira had told them.
Finally, Mira was ready. Flying down the the sunny gazebo just of the main hub of Jamaa Township, the blue heron perched upon the small wooden circle in the middle. Taking a deep breath, Mira raised one leg slightly and stretched her elegant wings out into the air. Now, she felt ready. And then the words of the spell were spoken.
A bright light immediately surrounded the heron, glowing more intensely as time when on, until it exploded outwards, and blasted the gazebo’s roof right into nothingness. When the light was gone, all that remained was a stone replica of Mira, standing regally as if nothing had ever happened.
Liza the Panda Shaman/Alpha watched the whole spectacle in awe, from the view of her hut. When the light spectacle was over, the panda swore she saw a faint ethereal blue light floating towards a yellow one, and then staying next to one another as if in a loving embrace.
“And let that be a lesson,” Liza spoke softly to herself. “That love never truly dies.”
Liza would later find that Mira was still as close to her dearest jammers as ever, appearing in a ethereal body in the shape of her physical self when jammers decided to have a fun time around Sarepia Forest’s campfire.
awesomepanda868:
After Zios fell to the vine-covered grounds of the Lost Temple, Mira was distraught. As you may know, her tears of grief formed the very first phantoms.
But after the phantoms were born, Mira mysteriously disappeared. There are many theories as to how and why this happened, but one solution remains most likely...
Mira was furious at herself for creating creatures as vile and evil as the demonic phantoms that now roamed the lands of Jamaa, searching for their next prey. Her own petty feelings had caused the potential deaths of so many innocent animals. Mira vowed to find a way to solve this problem she had created.
So, forever bound to this vow she made decades earlier, Mira scours the Unnamed Lands beyond the borders of Jamaa for a way to stop the phantoms' existence. They also say that she is the one who guides the alphas in finding new Spirit Stones to bring new species of animals to Jamaa. Some believe that one day Mira will finally find a way to cure Jamaa of all phantoms, and when she does, she will return to Jamaa, her promise fulfilled.

"Ugh! I can't find that particular book anywhere!", Mary said as she searched the shelves of her school's library. The teenager fox was curious about something other young foxes would not care about. She wanted to know where Mira hides. Mary asked the librarian for the book about "Mira's Existence". The old wolf librarian shook her head. Mary went back disappointed like every other day. Back at the library, the librarian was smiling and thinking about the young fox's curiosity. "Why would a 13 or 14 year old be curious about such a deep topic?", she thought.
Mary walked out of the large school building and sat on the bench near the old park. It was not only curiosity that was killing the fox, but also the disappointment. How hard she tried to learn about where Mira was right now. She walked into the abandoned park and saw nothing except for a broken phantom statue. Dark thoughts were covering her mind, but she believed strongly that Mira was still here. "Disguised as a normal jammer or living in an abandoned building, I'll find out where she is."
As soon as she was about to say another sentence, she felt sharp arms around her neck. A phantom bursting in purple lightning was floating near and had caught the poor fox. She couldn't scream since the fear had left her speechless. A lightning spark was just going to hit her when she saw a blue fire. It broke the phantom into pieces like it was a crushed rock. The phantom and cold fire had disappeared, and Mary could see nothing on the ground but a blue feather. She knew what that meant. "Wherever Mira is, she is always there to help us!", Mary thought. Therefore, Mira can be anywhere to save us from harm. She might not be seen, but she is an angel that protects us everyday in the large world of Jamaa.

Mira, the Sky Mother, and Zios, Sky Father, our creators. Our lovers. Yet, they seem to have left us. Why, you probably ask, why would they leave us, their children, if they loved us? We have done nothing wrong. We did not bring forth the dark plague of phantoms that are constantly putting the peace of our land at threat. But what if I tell you the story of why…
Mira loved Zios. He was amazing to her. She still could not believe that he had created her, and loved her the way he did. And she would always respect him for that. Yet, Mira and Zios did not always get along. They fought too, just like everybody else does. But when they fought, they hid it, so they creatures of Jamaa would never find out.
One day, Mira was becoming bored of the residents of Jamma. She was tired of seeing just wolves, or the plain pandas, and bored of the monkeys. She wanted a new creature for the land of Jamaa to enjoy, and someone else to keep her company besides Zios. She asked Zios if she could create such a creature, but he forbade it.
“We have no need to create anymore Mira. I will only allow you to find creatures in this land, not make up your own.” Spoke Zios.
“But I am getting tired of seeing the same animals everyday, and I’m sure the other animals are too. And why must we risk the explorers to search for new species?” Mira replied softly.
“Because, we must not waste our power for petty things like playmates! Besides, you cannot make this creature without a piece of my tails.”
Mira left the his chamber, with rage inside her.
Petty playmate?! I just want a friend to keep me company when Zios is gone! I don’t care what he says. I will make another creature for this land, and everybody will love it, even Zios! She thought.
That night, while Zios was sleeping, Mira snuck into his chambers and cut a piece off of each of his tails of creation, and stuck them into four separate bottles. Fire, water, air, and earth. Now I have what I need to create a friend. Mira slowly slipped out of the room, and slipped back into her chambers. She put all four pieces of the tails of creation together, and started to chant the magic words.
“Mira?!” Zios boomed.
Anger zipped into Mira as she heard Zios loud and powerful voice. The anger was twined into her spell as she spoke the words of creation, and with a sudden pop! A dark floating figure stood before Mira.
“Mother, is that you?” It spoke.
“Yes indeed it is.” Mira replied with awe and love.
Suddenly Zios burst into the room.
“What is that.” He demanded.
The creature’s eyes flashed with hate as he saw Zios. Electricity sizzled around its eight arms, and zap! Zios fell to the floor.
“You do not love mother!” It screamed as he continued to shock Zios.
“Stop! What is the meaning of this Mira?! What have you made?!” Zios screeched in pain.
Mira stood there horrified above her creation. “I-I d-don’t k-know…”
With a final surge of electricity, the creature killed Zios, leaving him as nothing but a shell. Without Zios alive, his mask fell down far, far below into a jungle, where the animals worshipped him. Mira stared at the creature with fear and terror in her eyes.
“Don’t hurt me Phantom!” She cried as she fled the great Sky Castle. Her tears fell down to the earth creating oceans in the land of Jamaa. She felt pieces of her heart break as she realized Zios was gone, thus creating the heartstones. She flew far away from Jamaa, never wanting her other children to know she was responsible for the death of Zios…
But Mira only made things worse. The phantom fed of the greed of many jammers, increasing his power, and he created more of his kind. Soon he attacked Jamaa, and created a dark time for our land.

Far away from any human land lives the place with the title of Jamaa. It was long ago created by the sky father Zios and Mira; another creation by Zios so he wouldn’t be lonely. The days passed as they created Jamaa, but one day right after it was finished Zios had mysteriously disappeared. Mira had no idea as to how he so quickly left without notice, but she had a horrible day. She cried and cried and cried until her tears became something weird- thousands of tiny, black cyclops. The animals were in Jamaa and had been there for only a few weeks and had lived in peace, but then they came. The nickname “phantom” spread around quickly, and that’s how these creatures were named. Mira decided that she needed help if the land of Jamaa were to be saved, she needed great warriors. She went and recruited the original six alphas: Greely, Sir Gilbert, Liza, Cosmo, Graham and Peck. Through a little bit of her magic, she changed them into who they are today. They were then sent away and helped fight the Phantoms off and saved the animals of Jamaa. But when one of the alphas by the name of Liza went looking for Mira after the war, she was gone without a trace. That’s where the legend ends.
Wait just a second- where did Mira go? What happened to her? The legend doesn’t end there. It’s time for the untold part of this story, the part that will intrigue many.
Mira had fled from Jamaa, too scared to admit the truth. She created the Phantoms, and it was her fault that many of the animals were almost captured and taken to the Phantom’s lair. She didn’t know where to go, but she kept going north. For some reason, she felt attracted to the northern lands. They caught her attention easily and were beautiful. The snow was so white that even someone with the best eyesight could confuse it with soft, white blankets. The pinecone trees were a very good addition too, and Mira decided that she would call this new place her home. That was until she met a large, black bear called Tigo. He told her about his secret underground land that was called Agartha. The bear took Mira to a regular cave about one mile away and explained that he was only up there on the surface to see what season it was. They both went inside the cave and the bear mumbled a few, weird phrases that Mira had never heard of. The floor of the dark, cold cave opened up and a grand staircase led down to Agartha. Mira had only heard of Agartha in folklore, but never did she believe it. That day, however, was when everything would change for Mira.
Down in Agartha the core of the Earth shined bright and everyone was happy. Old, beat up buildings that were once created by the Spanish Conquistadors that kept Agartha a secret housed the animals there. The leader, Prince Artiymus, was a human that could understand everything an animal could say. All the animals say he is an immortal, but none of them knew for sure because after all, he was human. Mira learned about many different animals and how they were created down there. In the depths of Agartha, animals were created by using the Spiritstone. Each Spiritstone was designed for an animal, and were only to be used by the great Prince Artiymus. One day, the King of the opposite side of Agartha invaded Prince Artiymus’s land. He tried to take the Spirit Stones but ended getting fakes because Mira had switched them around with some regular stones she had found. But, before the King left, he found out that they were fakes, and Mira was ready for him. As soon as he came, he used her magical powers to turn him into an ant. The Prince thanked her for saving the Spiritstones and said he could grant her two wishes. The first, which he hesitated about, was for Mira to keep every last Spiritstone. The Prince wanted to say no, but then he realized that he had to accept it. She promised him she’d find another way to help him make sure more animals are coming to Agartha. The next wish granted to Mira was Agartha’s assistance if Jamaa was attacked by the Phantoms once again.
Mira had shipped each Spiritstone one by one to the Alphas, without telling them where she was. Well, she didn’t actually ship them… she hid them deep in the lands on the surface for them to find. The only assistance she gave to them was a riddle that would tell them where they were hidden; this would increase their abilities to be leaders. One day, Mira was fiddling around with some potions in Agartha’s laboratory, and created the Heartstones, which were similar to the Spiritstones but made with different ingredients. She asked the alphas to return every Spiritstone to its original spot on the surface without telling the Jammers, and promised them the Heartstones instead. This was why the Spiritstones were mysteriously changed to the Heartstones. Mira went on a quick journey to get the Spiritstones and returned them to the Prince, and he thanked her. To this day, Mira is still in Agartha and watches over every Jammer. The Phantoms have returned in some spots to wreak havoc, but haven’t gotten serious yet. The Alphas sometime use Jammers to help them on quests, but keep watch to make sure they aren’t injured. But one day, the Phantoms will return to Jamaa… and Jamaa will be ready as Agartha fights for them in the second battle. One day, Zios will be reunited with Mira. To make him proud, Mira must stop the Phantoms from causing any more harm. Stop them from another war. Stop them from coming back to Jamaa. Maybe Zios will return one day, and Mira has a feeling the Phantoms are guarding something down below the Temple of Zios…
