Hello Jammers! :) Today is Tuesday, which means it's time for another Animal Jam Spotlight!
In this post, we will be spotlighting Fuzzy Shyivy.
If you've stuck around in the blogging community for a very long time, you probably know who Fuzzy is already. Fuzzy was the very first Animal Jam blogger.
Her blog was called the Animal Jam Rush. You can view it here.
The blog was opened on August 9th, 2010 and closed in 2013. Because of her blog, others were inspired to make their blogs. Some of these people were WitchHatBunny (LoveLost/Meloetta385), Pumaa, Slidoo, and snowyclaw. Soon the Animal Jam community we know and love (erm, at least most of us love it) was born.
People expanded from blogs to YouTube channels and other social media apps/sites. Now most of the community either makes videos, posts on Instagram or another social media app/site, or just simply plays the game. Some of us still blog, which is great because blogs are awesome. ^.^
Although Fuzzy is no longer around, it is important that we all remember her and what she did for the community as a whole. Without her, this blog may have never existed. It's a shame nobody really knows who she is anymore.

ReplyDeleteIts a shame the blogging community isn't what it used to be. If only someone like Wisteria or Julain2 would make a blog, it'd definitely rake in an era of new bloggers, and maybe even get a blogging plaque added to the game. I'm sure their posts would be interesting too 'glares at Apart I'

DeleteThat's a really good idea! I bet it would make a lot of publicity for the bloggers who are struggling as well as the more popular ones. Bepper and a couple of others started the Mirazine, so maybe that's a start?

Wow! This is literally so weird! I really like to read literally ALL THE POSTS AND COMMENTS on some blogs, and right now, I'm working on the Animal Jam Rush!

DeleteI remember her, in fact she was my buddy! So was Misterchunkybuddy, anyone remember him? His mom died..... so he quit..... I was also buddies with chocolate#### I dont remember the numbers, they made the sky blog.. Did you know I was the very first jammer of the month on his blog? I was Andrewj04, I switched to misterfrizzy 7 months ago though :p-Frizzy-
ReplyDeleteI knew Mister and Chocolate! It breaks my heart when he came out and told us his mother passed away. She is in a better place now.
DeleteOh man, they and Naffy were my 3 favourite bloggers back in 2014. I remember getting so darn excited over Scooter/Chocolate4050's Blu monkey comic. And I never knew that Mister's mum died, that's so sad :'(
DeleteScooter specifically said in his last post that he believed he was too old for AJ at 14, yet jammers like Aparti are 16 and still enjoy AJ. The thing is that Scooter and Mister were true Jamaasians who understood things about the game. Like what age group it was made for. Though it was sad to see them go, maybe going earlier rather then later was a good thing, because it shows that you truly understand animal jam as a game, rather then just an economy to get famous.

OML I remember scooter, he was my favourite blogger in the whole world. When he said goodbye on his blog I literally balled my eyes out, I miss him so much. The odd time he comes and visits aj and I say hi... All the good bloggers are going:'(

ReplyDeleteI miss when blogs were more common.. videos took over by far now. I think blogs are more interactive and personal than videos and a lot of people are missing out. :(
