I'm EXTREMELY confused. How in the world is this post offensive to you? I'm not criticizing anyone or anything. Nostalgic means ''characterized by or exhibiting feelings of nostalgia'', and nostalgia is basically a sentimentality for the past. I don't understand your judgment here.
