Skorm vs. Aparri

Hello Jammers! Sadly today is not an update day, so for now, I am going to be discussing the latest and greatest (ha, not really ''great'') AJ drama.

Yesterday, a handful of popular Jammers were banned. These Jammers include Skorm, Typicalrocky, and Jurshy.

According to AJHQ, the reason these people were banned is because they were caught selling items on eBay for real life money. This is a big problem that's been going on for years now.

Before we continue with the post, let's lay this statement down flat on the ground: DON'T EVER SELL ITEMS FOR MONEY. It violates the Animal Jam rules and guarantees a permanent ban to your account. It's not worth all of the trouble.

Now that that's settled, let's continue with the story.

Skorm, as well as the others who were banned, admitted and apologized for their mistakes. Skorm said that he sold items that he received from fans during live streams, and made over $2,000. He also said that he felt bad that he let down his fans and promised to never do it again.

However, AJHQ had a different plan up their sleeves and permanently banned any players that were in on Skorm's gig.

As a result of this, Skorm blew up and threw a huge hissy fit on Instagram. He blamed Aparri for convincing AJHQ to ban him, Typical, and Josh (Jurshy). Aparri denies it.

So, in recap, here are the two main sides to the story:

Skorm's Side: Sold items on eBay for real money, AJHQ banned his account, blames Aparri for convincing AJHQ to ban him

Aparri's Side: Believes Skorm got what he deserves, denies having any form of input into banning Skorm

My Opinion: I think that banning Skorm and the others was the right thing to do. After all, they did violate the Animal Jam rules. But I'm not sure about the whole ''Aparri is to blame" deal.

The funniest part about this drama, though, is the fact that AJHQ ACTUALLY REMOVED SKORM FROM THEIR YOUTUBE CHANNEL ART.

I find this really funny. XD

What do you guys think about the recent drama? Is it really worth a community war: blue versus red?

  1. IDozAnimalJamz, and Phlex as well as a couple of other people were involved as well. And since AJHQ issued that statement basically saying that Aparri did nothing, I guess Skorm has nothing to go on now :l
However there was the picture that Skorm posted about how Aparri was going to buy items off of Phlex. The whole thing is very complicated and icky, I don't think any one person knows everything that's transpired, except for the people directly involved.

  2. Soo, i don't like Skorm or Aparri, but i think skorm is in the wrong here. Selling AJ items for real life money is just wrong, and its basically scamming..

  3. I don't like Aparri already, so this doesn't change a thing.... I believe this is UNFAIR, because many other people are doing this still, and have not been banned.

  4. I think ajhq did the right thing. But how can someone make that much money from selling items?
Also, whoever brought items from them should be punished as well in my opinion.~Ajwolf333jv

  6. I would like to point out that Aparri has sold items too. If Skorm was banned for that, then Aparri definitely should.

I would enjoy seeing what happens when the truth about Aparri is revealed.

  7. I think they should've just gave him a 20 day suspension on his mistakes , i mean he even apologized , i get it , it is wrong to sell thungs like that on e-bay , but thats a little extreme you know .

  8. It is quite obvious that Aparri dislikes Skorm and Skorm dislikes Aparri. I like neither.
a)Aparri is just that popular, overrated guy whose fans would do anything for him.
    b)Skorm is Aparri Jr.
But I think that, in this whole Skorm vs. Aparri thing, I would choose Aparri. Not because of this latest drama, but because Skorm faked that he liked bepper when he already had a girlfriend O,O
Ok, that doesn't mean I support Aparri, but he is bepper's brother, and I support bepper. It was kinda sad to see that thing, I mean... bepper seemed to like Skorm :T. And Aparri was the one to leave the ''Skorm, please tell us why you ship skepper when you already have a girlfriend'' comment.

Ok, actually, back on my main point... I dislike both Aparri and Skorm. The most decent famous jammer is probably Snowyclaw :T. Also Wisteria and Wolffey.

    1. Yeah, they're pretty much exact carbon copies of each other in my opinion, and they've never really been on good terms with each other since day one.

  9. I do dislike both Aparri and Skorm, so I have no favorites. Skorm got what he totally deserves, and that's that. I understand why Aparri reported to AJHQ though. Why would I support a jammer that does illegal things?

  10. Skorm sucks. He LITERALLY makes videos of him trying to embarrass his friends. THAT DONT SOUND FRIENDLY! On the other hand, I like aparri, especially this:

    XDDDDD!

  11. Both of the boys are baddies and they dont know what is wright or wrong, first of all aparri always does these "illegal deals" plus he hacked crazy all night long and his password cracker craked so hard his computer software could not handle it because aparri used the account 7 back 2013 and made racist hacking videos and everyone laughed, now for skorm, skorm is like the new 7(aparri's old account and youtube) he is sort of a disabled(like not able to do as much damage to the aj community, and not meant to be offensive to disabled ones)accept he scams little kids rares and makes "illegal deals" on a game platform meant to be educational, I dont really serve a side but this christmas Aparri's true guilt has come from his hacking and scamming from this rivalry of drama.

  13. I don't really like either of them so I'm not picking any sides. Skorm should care more about his image since he has/had 96k subs. He could lose all that just for being greedy.

    1. Kraft-gurl, he ain't gonna lose ANY notoriety over this. :l Sure, he might make a good portion of fans angry, but how many are going to accept his apology and let everything be in the past?

More than that, his name is EVERYwhere in the AJ community now. Aparri's involvement in this makes sure that everyone who hears about Aparri's side will hear some part of Skorm's. If he isn't getting popularity, he's getting publicity. On YouTube, that's just as good, because people will still watch your videos, if only to see what people hate so much.

If I may make a prediction, he's gonna come back on YouTube with a new AJ account, and a new channel. He's gonna be more famous than before, though with a more 'troubled background', and possibly a secret/open grudge against HQ, and a definitely open one against Aparri. As big of a stir as this caused, he'll try to work it to his advantage and paint himself as the victim, and many will side with him.

As for the motives, money is an obvious one, and fame and envy the next obvious. As for the other details, blaming Aparri for 'making HQ ban him', human beings are complex creatures. We're probably never going to know everything, as has already been said in the comments here. Definitely some resentment, whether with good cause or not.

Both Jammers in question have done bad things. Both caused a lot of stir in the community. Many Jammers will look at this and feel sad, like I do. The clever Jammer will look at this and attempt to turn it to their advantage, as I feel Skorm will.

    2. True, but remember how Clark Stacey told Zarfy that if he didn't leave the community, he'd lose his channel? Since AJHQ removed him from their channel banner and featured list they might give him the same threat. It's clear Skorm is only in it for the money (his online shop proves just that). I have already seen a large amount of his fans turn on him. Oh wait, what am I saying? Alistairz did some highly inappropriate... Things.. And people still make excuses.

Then again, Aparri used to sell items himself back in, I believe, 2014. People will probably forget everything :|

Plus, jammers like MagnetPlaysAJ (actually one of my favourite AJtuberd heh) have proven that people can gain from drama. She got a large amount of views and subs from her videos exposing certain jammers like Nemachu. I still think Skorm's pretty daft for selling items. Kids look up to him and will start to think it's excusable.

  14. Well, I don't mind either. Skorm was violating AJ rules, but then, he did say he would stop. I'm not on any side, I'm just saying my opinion. And if Aparri did convince AJHQ to ban Skorm and the others, well, that was kinda mean in my brain.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I honestly agree with him being banned. He did something wrong, and therefore he should be punished. Simple as that.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Honestly, if AJHQ had known about Aparri's doings during his time as 7, he would have been banned too. I have nothing against Aparri nowadays, but this goes to show how far AJHQ will go to keep the game safe.

So why aren't they taking the same steps to ban scammers and hackers?

  17. I don't think it's funny,
but I think he deserved to be banned,
is it forever? or just maybe a month??

  18. I was actually hoping for something good to happen off of December 2016 and then this had to happen. We all should be wondering how bad 2017 is going to be.

  19. i think this ban was traced to a group of young russian criminals who keylogged skorm's computer, and used skorm's name on an ebay account dedicated to selling aj items for money, first they used skorm's credit card info, then used the aj items for the money (i hope these young criminals get arrested)

  20. honestly, your all stupid. stop making posts about this. skorm really didnt know he would be banned. stop putting hate into this. i support aparri AND skorm. there are more ebay sellers for AJC and AJ. nobodys making a big deal about them.... >:C
