HELLO

HELLO EVERYONE HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL

life updates

HELLO EVERYONE!! It has been so long since I last posted a life update wowie! I cannot believe this blog still gets occasional traffic these days haha. I am almost done with my fourth semester of college! I am studying Journalism and Public Relations and Political Science, kind of a mix of all three. It's kind of funny how I started out by blogging for fun and now I'm basically studying it in college. I am also going to study abroad in Europe this summer, so that will be super fun. I have always wanted to go to Europe. I still think about my blogging days and the community that grew here. I hope you are all doing well, let me know how things in your lives are in the comments!!

hello!

Hey guys! It's been a while! I just thought I'd pop in for a minute and say hello :) I have officially finished my first year of college as of like two months ago lol. What a year! The pandemic is finally ending where I live so I'm hoping my next year will be more of an actual college experience. Anyways, what's new in the world of Animal Jam? How are you all doing?

yeehaw!!

hi hi how are ya? it's been a few months since I checked in with you guys! I started college this fall and I am studying political science at usu! that is subject to change but so far I'm loving it. the college experience is obviously not what I was hoping for thanks to the global pandemic but we're chillin lol, hopefully next year I can get to experience more of a normal college life. how is everyone doing?

quarantine update

hey y'all what's up? it's been a little over a month since I made a post and I figured why not just make another one to see what you guys are up to? quarantine and the coronavirus pandemic has been probably the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me in my life so far. I've been really bored but during quarantine I've watched a lot of movies and TV shows, worked on some art projects, learned how to cook a few things, died while doing homework, etc.

what things have you been doing to keep you busy?

just quarantine things

how are y'all holding up with this crazy coronavirus stuff going on? my school's been cancelled until may 1st but if I'm being honest they'll probably just end the school year completely if this keeps up (which it will). it sucks because I'm a senior in high school so all of the end-of-year activities such as senior cotillion and a girls choice dance might be cancelled or postponed, heck I don't even know if I'll have a graduation! class of 2020 really got the short end of the stick

let me know in the comments what the pandemic is like in your area!

happy 2020!!

hi everyone! happy 2020 even though it's already february oops haha

I'm graduating high school this year and then it's off to college for me. what have y'all been up to? any big plans for the year?

howdy

how are y'all it's been a phat minute since i've stopped by to say hello so here we are lol

happy new year!

can you believe it's 2019? honestly, that's wild. where did 2018 go?? it seems like just yesterday i was sobbing over infinity war, and now there are less than five months until endgame. wowie

anyways i just wanted to wish y'all a happy new year! remember if you ever want to chat just leave a comment;  i check the queue every so often to approve comments nonetheless. and if you still want your prizes from the giveaway lmk! gbye

hello

hello jammers! i wanted to make this post to catch up with you guys because it's been about a month and a half since i officially said goodbye. i'm planning on doing a little giveaway in the future because i have some items of value that need new homes, but who knows when that will be. anyways, let me know in the comments how life is treating y'all.

update

so as most of you have probably noticed, i haven't posted on this blog in several weeks.

the reason? i'm just not interested in animal jam anymore.

let's be honest, animal jam is dying. no new content is being added to the game. new animals? we've seen this scheme before. returning dens? boring. spike sales? disgusting. it's the same old story every time. i've simply grown out of the game.

wildworks knows this too. like, you walk into typically heavily-populated lands (take aldan for example) and you don't see as many jammers in the area as you did in, say, 2014. ''famous'' animal jam youtubers such as aparri and wisteriamoon have begun to show less and less interest in the game they make videos about. the community of animal jam on all sorts of social media platforms is losing members. i've noticed significantly less attention being paid towards animal jam in the recent past, and instead, the attention goes towards play wild.

people just don't think animal jam is fun anymore, and as much as i hate to admit it, i am one of those people.

i've found other hobbies - marvel, fortnite, sports, movies, etc. heck, i still play webkinz occasionally because even though there aren't as many people playing nowadays as there were in 2007, the people at webkinz still find ways to make the game enjoyable by releasing new content on a regular basis.

during the last couple of months when i was posting daily, blogging felt like a chore, and a chore is never what i intended blogging to be for me personally. it started out as a hobby, and now, six years later, i've grown up and found other things that i enjoy doing.

i'm going to be a junior in high school. i have (and will continue to have) more important things to do in life, like preparing for college by taking the act test, working hard at getting good grades, and learning how to get by on my own. i need to focus on getting a job and furthering high school tennis career. it sucks to get old but that's just how life is, i guess.

i'm not leaving forever. i'll still be running my little movie review blog i created in april, so please, if you want to talk to me, talk to me there. here's the link: cinematic thoughts

i'll still be on webkinz and chicken smoothie, though not as often. if you need my username for either of those games, leave a comment.

i'm also on fortnite, so if you want to squad up sometime, leave a comment.

i'm still not sure what i'm going to do with this blog. i am 100% for sure not going to delete it - i'd never forgive myself if i did. i'll try my best to post every now and then just to catch up with you guys.

thank you for all the memories. you all have shaped me to become the person i am today. animal jam was a huge part of my life these past six (soon to be seven) years, but this blog was an even bigger part of it.

for the last time (hopefully not the official last time, but for the last time in a while)...

whip on!

Spring Fashion Show 2018 Round #10: ONE ELIMINATION

Hello! One elimination today. Whoever gets eliminated in this round will receive the third place prizes.

Mister Wonkybuddy was eliminated yesterday, so that's why their picture isn't up. :)

Dire Wolves vs Saber Tooth Tigers

Hi Jammers! I spotted something a little interesting the other day.

In the latest Jamaa Journal, the page that introduces the dire wolves concludes with two questions referring to the relationship between the saber tooth tigers and the dire wolves:

"How will these ancient animals fare together?"

"Will they be allies, or adversaries?"

After doing some quick research, I discovered that saber tooth tigers and dire wolves actually lived in close proximity while they roamed the earth.

Later on, I logged into Animal Jam and noticed that the new homepage has a peculiar detail...

See the two banners? One has a saber tooth tiger on it, and the other has a dire wolf.

Is AJHQ hinting towards a battle between these two creatures, or perhaps an event similar to the VidCon games? Since VidCon is coming up soon, it would make sense to revamp it in a way because the games were so popular among the community.

What do you think? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Bye!
