History of the Zios Statue

Hi there, Jammers! Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip blog.

Ever since the Zios Statue was mysteriously somehow restored back to its former glory by the solar eclipse a few weeks ago, I've been wanting to make a post on how its changed over the years, and what we can possibly expect of it in years to come.

Without further ado, let's begin!

During the beta testing period of Animal Jam, a statue of a monkey with a large crown, gold bands on his ankles and wrists, and one earring sitting in a throne was in the place of the ''revived Zios'' that we see now. You can actually purchase this statue from the Beta Party, which usually comes around every July or August.

Notice the big, blue gem in the monkey's crown. Could it possibly be an early version of an Alpha Stone? What do you think?

After beta testing ended, the monkey statue was replaced with... this. Most people call it the Zios Pit, so that's what I'm going to be referring it as. :P The Zios Pit stayed like this and was left unchanged for a VERY long time, until a certain update that came out a few weeks ago, which gave us...

Yep, the Revived Zios. Apparently the ''pit'' was actually an entrance to a secret hideout room for the Sky Father himself all along, and we've barely just been given access to explore it.

I used to think that the monkey statue was really Zios in his true animal form before his great fall (seriously, who does Zios think he is? Humpty Dumpty!?), but we don't know for sure if Zios was even an animal at all in the first place. Also, I used to have this theory about how Zios accidentally released a swarm of phantoms that were supposedly locked up in the pit he fell into, but that's been proven incorrect now that we know the truth.

Zios is definitely a shadowy dude. In a good way, I guess.

Thanks for reading. Happy jamming!

Funny Jammer Sayings Mini Compilation

If you're purposefully stubbing your toe and it's making you sad, then why don't you stop?

How can that be? Don't wolves have... you know... wolf heads?

Naw, I'm good. Thanks for thinking of me, though.

Secret Item in Bounce House Den + Golden Egg Mystery

Hey Jammers! I'm sure you already know what this post is going to be about because of the title, but today I wanted to show you how you can get your very own maple leaf spinner item that is hidden in AJHQ's customized Bounce House den!

You can enter the den by clicking on the big blue button at the top of the Epic Dens list. Once you've done that, explore a bit until you find a wind spinner shaped like a maple leaf. Click on it, and a secret shop will open up, where you can now purchase the item!

The best part is that it's for all Jammers! Hooray!

In other news, have you guys ever noticed that there's a some sort of a bird engraved on the golden egg item? I believe you can obtain it through one of the spring seasonal adventures.

To me, it looks almost exactly like Mira, with the long neck, large, widespread wings, and the little crown on the top of its head. Pretty cool, huh?

Thanks for reading. Have a great rest of your Saturday! Enjoy the weekend while you can. :P

The Forgotten Archive

Hi Jammers! Yesterday, there was an update in Jamaa, so let's check it out!

For whatever reason, the solar eclipse caused the Zios Statue to ''revive'', and now a secret staircase leading to a mysterious, ancient room has been opened called the Forgotten Archive.

Here are some pictures of this new area that Jammers can now explore:

The Forgotten Relics is an all-new shop selling Mira and Zios themed items. I think I like the arm bands the most.

Scattered throughout the room are these strange little excerpts from different books and journals. I wonder what they mean... any theories?

This is probably my favorite part about the place. See these three portals? Currently, we do not have access to them, but do you guys have ideas or thoughts on what these portals could lead to? New adventures dealing with Zios, perhaps?

Goats have returned. Eh, nothing too important, unless you've been really wanting a goat for a long time.

Pet scorpions? That was, uh, a bit out of the blue. I wonder what scorpions would look like in Animal Jam as real animals, not just pets.

The Bounce House is back! Yay!

This is probably the second best part of the update, the first being the unveiling of the Forgotten Archive. I am so happy that NM's get to use rhinos! Now all they need is more animal inventory slots.

There's a new exhibit at the Conservation Museum, all about the hard work some animals do.

Just an old reminder about the falcon bundle special going on right now with membership cards.

Ooh... this is interesting. Apparently, each time you redeem a code from one of the Eclipse Adopt-a-Pet toys, you unlock a piece of rare eclipse armor, which I assume is just like the Diamond Shop version, but in different colors. Still, that's pretty neat! If only I could find some Eclipse Adopt-a-Pet toys at my local Target. >.<

Well, that's all for today, folks! What would you rate this update out of five stars? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for reading. Bye!

New AJ Code

Hi Jammers! Today is supposed to be an update day, but since I'll be at school and a tennis match for the majority of the day, I've decided to post the typical update review tomorrow instead.

Because of this, today's post is going to be very brief, but hopefully helpful. In the latest edition of the National Geographic Kids magazine, there is an Animal Jam code in the Fun Stuff section. The code is ''BATS'', and it can be redeemed for a whopping 500 gems. Awesome!

Thanks for reading this extremely short post. Life has been really busy lately, but I promise I will get that update post out as soon as I can.

Bye!
