Jammer Opinions #2: Headdresses

Hi Jammers! Welcome back for the second volume of Jammer Opinions. This segment is all about headdresses, but before we get into the interviewing random Jammers part of the post, let's discuss the history of headdresses and why some people might not like them.

Headdresses are easily one of the most popular items right now and have been for a few years. They look good on almost any animal, they're rare, and they come in a variety of colors. They were originally released for the Feast of Thanks in November 2011, and that was the only year headdresses were for sale. They haven't returned to stores since, and when asked what the reason is behind it, AJHQ says that they may be offensive to Jammers with a Native American background or culture.

So, today I am going to be asking a few random people and some buddies of mine what they think of headdresses. Without any further ado, let's begin!

The first person I interviewed was a flamingo named Rosy Peachyplum. She was pro headdresses, but didn't really go into detail as to why she stands where she stands. Oh well!

The next lucky Jammer is a horse named Queen Faircheetah. You can tell she's a pretty big ''bean''. Anyways, Queen thinks headdresses are amazing, and she doesn't believe they have the ability to offend anyone.

The third person is a great friend of mine named Henry. Henry likes how headdresses look, but he also thinks their rarity is messed up. I agree with everything he said here. When items get popular, their values tend to go up and down a lot, and you can never really be sure what they're worth.

The final Jammer to be interviewed is another one of my good blogging buddies named Ja. She said that headdresses are good. I know she said more than just this, but my screenshots got deleted somehow and I can't quite remember what else she talked about. Ja, if you're reading this, feel free to help me out! :P

At first, I was honestly a bit surprised with the results I got. Everyone said positive things about headdresses. I was expecting a little more variety with the answers, but after pondering about it for a short while, I realized that these results are actually kind of normal, with how popular headdresses are.

Now it's your turn! Give me your opinion on headdresses. Leave it in the comment section down below! I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for reading. That's the whip!

Hi Jammers! Recently, we just hit 1,025,000 views! A month ago we reached the 1,000,000 views mark. It's crazy how time flies!

Every time we hit a 25,000 view interval (25,000, 50,000, 75,000, etc.), I will throw a party and host a contest to celebrate. This time, the party is going to be Night of the Phantoms themed. For more information, check out this little invitation I whipped up (haha, get it?):

I hope y'all can make it! We always have lots of fun. Oh, and remember to wear a Halloween/Night of the Phantoms costume for the costume parade/contest!

Speaking of contests, the 1,025,000 views contest will be up sometime between now and a couple of days, depending on how quickly I can get everything arranged together.

Allow me to announce two new sets of AJ merchandise before I close today's post. If you read the Daily Explorer, you've probably already heard the news.

Firstly, Animal Jam just released a second wave of Adopt-A-Pet clip plushies!

Ahhh, they're so cute! I have a ducky from Series 1, and it's the most adorable thing ever. Now I really want that polar bear...

Oh, and by the looks of it, I think the secret mystery pet is a seahorse. The mystery pet from Series 1 was a pony.

Secondly, you can now buy an Animal Jam 2018 Calendar from a website called calendars.com!

I'm assuming each month has an Animal Jam picture on it. How neat!

Thanks for reading. Happy jamming!

The Mysterious Lines of Power Have Been Here All Along

Hey Jammers! Nafaria here! Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip, and happy first day of October! :)

Today, we're going to be talking about the peculiar lines of power that have been spotted running throughout the land of Jamaa. Ever since the solar eclipse, weird things have been happening, including the Zios statue ''reviving'' itself, and the Forgotten Archives being unlocked and available for exploration. Now, just with the most recent update, strange, blue lines carrying an ancient power source have suddenly appeared, but before we get into that, we have a few other items of business to cover.

Firstly, CHECK OUT THIS GORGEOUS MASTERPIECE BY SARAHKEY8!!!

It's all of the AJ Bloggers! I don't know how I didn't see this earlier (perhaps I did, but just had a huge brain fart and don't remember it), but nonetheless, it's BEAUTIFUL! Great job, Sarah!

Aaaaand the secret item found in AJHQ's customized Epic Haunted Manor den is the Spider Trampoline! I believe it was about this time last year that AJHQ started this little trend of releasing secret items that can only be purchased by clicking on it in one of their pre-designed dens. Nice!

As you all know, there is a prize for beating level five of the Phantom Vortex game (I forgot what it's called... does it even have a specific name? Let me know!), and it changes every year. This year's prize is a Phantom Bones Archway! Tell me, what is your favorite Phantom Vortex game prize from all of the years? Mine has to be either the Phantom Scarecrow or the Phantom Statues.

Now that those things are covered, let's discuss those bizarre lines of power again. In the Forgotten Archives, there is a series of journal entries and excerpts from old books scattered around the room.

On the second floor, however, there is an interesting carving on the wall, which looks like some sort of map. When you click on it, one of those excerpts pops up, along with a picture of the carving.

This map must show where all of the lines of power run through Jamaa, and how they are all connected.

You may not realize it at first, but we've seen this map before. It's been around for a few years.

You can find it in the floor at the center of Greely's Hideout den!

(picture from a Google+ user; does not belong to me)

What could this mean? Does Greely have something to do with the lines of power? The excerpt mentioned how the lines of power could be used for both good and evil purposes. Is Greely trying to discover how to misuse the lines of power, or has he already found out how? Let me know what you guys come up with in the comments.

Thanks for reading. That's the whip!
