Animal Jam Box Summer 2017 Unboxing/Review

Hey Jammers! It is now time for the long-awaited Summer 2017 AJ Box unboxing/review post that I have been promising you all for a while. I recently received my box in the mail earlier this week, and I couldn't wait to see what was inside!

Without further ado, let's start!

This is what the box looks like on the outside. You can see that mine was slightly damaged during the mailing process, but it's okay because none of the items inside were hurt. :)

Here is a side shot of the outside of the box.

This is what we see when we open the box. I can't even begin to contain my excitement!

The first item is this cool shark charm. If you've been subscribed to the AJ Box ever since the Winter 2017 one, then you'll know that each box comes with a charm that you can clip to a chain bracelet that was given in the Winter Box.

This next item is probably my favorite; it's a super cute octopus plushie! It's really soft, too.

The third item is a ''Jammer Canteen''. In case you don't know, a canteen is a small water bottle that is often used by soldiers or campers.

Next is a deck of Animal Jam playing cards! I'll definitely be using these to play games like War with my siblings.

Following the deck of cards is this rad Surf's Up! t-shirt. Although the size of the shirt is a medium (and I wear size medium shirts), it's huge on me.

Next is this awesome drawstring bag. I think I'll give this to my sister, because she likes to take practically her entire closet with her in the car every time we go somewhere.

Lastly is this neat beach towel, with two adorable sea turtles on it. The towel was tightly compressed so that it could fit inside the box, so it's really wrinkly. That's alright, though, because we can always just wash and iron it.

And we can't forget the wonderful promo gift that comes with the box. This time around, it's a shark tail!

Unreleased/Secret Items in Peck's Den

Hello there, Jammers!

Today I am going to be showing you guys some cool, possibly unreleased items in AJHQ's custom-designed Peck's Den. If you're unfamiliar with these kinds of posts, basically about every update AJHQ designs a den for all Jammers to visit. You can access these dens from the Epic Dens menu. It's a big blue button; you can't miss it!

In these dens, sometimes you might find a few items that aren't released yet. These are what we call unreleased items. Often times there will also be one special item that, when clicked, will open up a secret shop where you can actually purchase that item for your own. Cool, right?

Without further ado, let's begin taking a look at the cool items we can find.

Aww! A cute Greely plushie! I don't understand why these haven't been released yet.

I've never seen this before. It must be some kind of a pet treasure chest.

The secret item that you can purchase for only 700 gems is an antique window!

This item is pretty neat. It appears to be a strand of... lemur lights!? 

And lastly, a Sir Gilbert plushie!

That's the whip!

Solar Eclipse in Jamaa

Hi Jammers! Today is a very special update day, so let's see what it's in store for us this time around.

The total solar eclipse that is set to be visible on August 21st all across the United States of America has found its way to Jamaa! This rare occasion has caused several lands to go dark, such as Appondale, the Lost Temple of Zios, and Jamaa Township! To celebrate, a bunch of solar eclipse-themed items will be arriving in stores throughout the event. Be sure to click on the banners scattered around Jamaa for some cool solar eclipse facts as well.

If you plan on viewing the eclipse, you need to use protective eye wear. Looking at the sun can cause a number of health problems for your eyes, including blindness.

National Honeybee Day is coming up, so look out for bee items in the stores, and don't forget to adopt a pet honeybee while you can!

The final page doesn't say much about painting, but now all plushies can be placed in both land and ocean dens! Hooray!

Hi Jammers! Ever since the new AJW Suggestion Box opened up, I've been getting some great feedback, ideas, and thoughts on possible new content for the blog.
