'Ello! ^_^
Last weekend, I decided to try out a quick and easy recipe I found while browsing through the Internet. I'm proud to say that my attempt was a success, and now I'm here to share it with you guys! :D
So, without further ado... How to Make Organic One-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream!
Ice cream is delicious - no doubt about that, right? Unless, of course, you're lactose intolerant, which totally sucks. :(
But this recipe has only one-ingredient, which makes it super healthy, simple, and allergen-free!
I bet you're screaming at me, "GET TO THE RECIPE ALREADY!" So I will. :P
What You Need:
2-3 ripe bananas (depending on how much ice cream you want)
A small food processor/blender
Steps:
Step 1: Peel the bananas and slice them evenly into thin coins, like so.
You should end up with something like this:
Step 2: Put the coins into an air-tight, freezer-safe container.
Step 3: Tightly snap on the lid.
Step 4: Place the container of bananas into the freezer for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Step 5: Once the bananas are done freezing, take them out and put them into a small food processor. If you do not have a small food processor, you can use a blender, but a processor is recommended.
Step 6: Blend the bananas. I had to add in a little drizzle of low fat milk to make the mixture a bit creamier, but that's just because I had to. You'll know when your ice cream is done when it has a thick, custard-y texture.
Step 5: Add in any extra toppings or mix-ins, like chocolate chips, sprinkles, etc.
I hope you guys found this recipe useful. c: Buh-bye! Oh, and also: Happy Webkinz Day!
That's cool!
