Update Post by Loveminecraft1024

*Note: I am not necessarily going on a hiatus or break or whatever you want to call it, however, I will stop doing daily posts. With that being said, a good, generous friend of mine wrote this little update review post for me, so enjoy!*

Hi Jammers! I'm loveminecraft1024 and I am going to be writing some posts for Nafaria while she is on her break. I have a blog, too- you can check it out at ajcornerblog.blogspot.com
Today, I am going to be reviewing the new Night of The Phantoms Update! Let's begin.

First of all, pet phantoms are back for another year in hopes of being adopted! They will only be available this ThursdayFridaySaturday, and Sunday, so get yours while you can!

The next page says that the Night of The Phantoms is here and to get ready this whole month for everything silly and spooky, plus to be on the lookout for all the items, pets, dens, and adventures during this autumn!

The next pages talks about the ancient lines of power that have flowed deep beneath Jamaa and are emerging all over Jamaa Township! Many jammers think the apperance of these are related to the discovery of the forgotten archives, the eclipse, and other strange events. I think the power lines have something to do with the phantoms, and Halloween.

The next two pages talk about the adventure Bitter Sweets, Spooky Armor, and the Epic Haunted Manor, which you can get now. I remember these things from last year, though the Spooky Armor is new.

The fun Phantom Vortex game is back, and so are pet tarantulas!

The Haunted Forest Party has returned, and World Animal Day is coming up! I will be at camp on October 4th, so I will miss it :(

Eagles are coming back soon, and lynxes are soon traveling, so get one while you can!

The final page is about Animal Jam Costumes. These look super cute (Nafaria made a post about them about a month ago) but I still don't know if I would want to be one. My sister might be the bunny :3

That concludes my Night of The Phantoms update post. That's the whip!

Important News

Hey Jammers. It's Naffy here. :)

In today's post, I am going to be announcing some very important news, so please listen up.

High school is busy. Very busy. I have a lot more homework to do now than I did in junior high school, and that's a fact. This past month has been extremely busy, too, because of the tennis season. Although the season ended a few days ago, I still feel rushed and stressed out.

Lately, I've also been getting kind of bored of Animal Jam, as upsetting as it is. The only reason I log in every day is to check up the community and update the Whip, to be perfectly honest. It's just not as fun as it used to be. I don't know if that's because of the life I have outside of the Internet or age or whatever, but it's true.

But wait! There is no need to worry, because I am NOT QUITTING BLOGGING. I still like writing about the new things happening within the community, designing templates, and interacting with you guys. I'm not ditching you for any reason at all.

However, instead of doing daily posts like I have been for the past couple of years or so, I will only post when I feel like it. If there's something interesting going on in the community, I will post. If a cool theory or idea pops into my head, I will post. I will still be doing contests and parties, too.

Nothing is really changing here, except for the fact that I will not be posting every single day. It's too much of a hassle for me to cram it into my schedule on days where I'm packed with things to do.

I hope you all understand. If you have any questions, please ask me!

Thanks for reading. That's the whip!

Gracie's Quick AJ Tag

Hi Jammers! The other day a good friend of mine in this vast and wonderful blogging community named Gracie made a quick, simple AJ tag that I thought would be fun to do, so here we go!

1. What’s your favorite clothing item?

Gloves have and always will be my favorite clothing item. They look good on almost any animal, and they hold a special place in my heart.

2. What’s your favorite den item?

Hmm... I really like plushies, scented candles, poofy rugs, and basically any nature item. Honestly, you just can't hate nature items. They're too aesthetically pleasing to dislike!

3. What’s your favorite AJ animal?

I like the deer, wolves, snow leopards, seals, hyenas, foxes, rhinos, etc. There are so many animals that I enjoy using; I can't pick a favorite!

4. Diamonds or gems?

Gems, since that's the less controversial way to go, but on the other hand, without diamonds these days, you can't buy any new animals or pets.

5. What’s your favorite den?

Probably either the Spring Cottage or the Friendship Cottage, since they're both fairly spacey but not too huge like the Sky Kingdom or Crystal Palace, and they're fun to decorate, too.

6. Minigames or adventures?

Both!

7. What animal would you like to see in AJ?

A red panda would be kind of neat.

That's it for this tag! Originally I wasn't tagged to do it, but it was fun to participate nonetheless. If you'd like to answer these questions, feel free to in the comments or on your own blog!

Bye!

My Favorite Animal Jam Den Items for Fall

Hey Jammers!

The first day of fall was several days ago. Besides flu season, autumn is always a great time of year - chilly weather, colorful leaves, hot chocolate, sweaters, Halloween, Thanksgiving, you name it!

Now that fall is here, Jammers everywhere are preparing their dens for the season, with all kinds of different furniture and decorations that give you that warm, cozy feeling inside. Here are a few of my favorite items that look great in fall-themed dens!

You can't have fall without leaf piles, of course! This has and will always be one of the best items for fall in my opinion.

Scented candles are one of the most popular items in all of Jamaa, regardless of what season it is in the year. Although they are wonderful decorations all year round, fall is definitely the best.

This little chest from Graham's Workshop is so cute that it works perfect in almost any den (especially fall dens). Speaking of Graham's Workshop, that Adventure has a lot of great items that work perfectly in autumn-themed dens!

Stitched rugs have the perfect combination of fall colors, perfect for any den during these three months. ^-^

Epic Seasonal Trees change with the seasons, and they look absolutely gorgeous in the fall. Red, orange, and yellow seasonal trees are also awesome, but I believe you can only get them through the den tutorial when you first make a new account. I wonder why they're not back in the regular Jam Mart Furniture yet. Ugh.

This fancy fireplace, or any fireplace for that matter, adds a feeling of warmth to any den.

Although these plants have only been released for about a year or two, fall shrubs are one of my favorite nature items right now. They come in a variety of colors for fall and spring/summer. These won't be around for long, so stock up while you can!

What are some of your favorite fall den items? :)

That's the whip!

AJ Pillow Pet Promo Gifts

Hey Jammers!

As many of you may know, the Animal Jam Pillow Pets are now officially available for purchase on Amazon. Since nearly every single piece of Animal Jam merchandise out there comes with a promo code, I've being wondering what virtual prize the Pillow Pet codes give.

However, I've no longer needed to wonder, because Shopking recently made a video review on the AJ Pillow Pets, and revealed what the secret promo gift is for each of them - virtual Pillow Pets for your den!

They're all so cute! I personally think the lynx looks more like a monkey, but the lynxes in general had bad designs to begin with, so... yeah. :P

Old Animal Jam Blogs that Inspired Me

Hi there!

If you're an Animal Jam blogger, chances are you've been inspired by other blogs to create your own. Chances are you've not only been inspired to start your blogging journey, but you've also been influenced by others and their ideas.

I am one of the people that has been inspired by other Animal Jam bloggers and their work to do what I do today, so I thought it would be fun to share with you some of these bloggers and their blogs and how they shaped me as a blogger. Goodness gracious... so many ''blogs'' and ''bloggers'' in that long sentence!

Anyways, let's begin!

1. Animal Jam Flash by Meloetta385/LoveLost/WitchHatBunny

Whatever you remember her by, Meloetta was one of my favorite Animal Jam bloggers. Her posts were very pleasurable and interesting. I never got bored of them. I even remember the day I became her friend... ahh, memories!

2. Animal Jam Insiders by Sheesh4

Sheesh4 was also another one of those bloggers whose posts were always enjoyable. Her personality is great, and her style of writing is fun to read. She was pretty popular back in 2011/2012, and came back for a little bit in 2015. She disappeared in November that year. Although she doesn't produce new content anymore, I still like to go back and read her old posts.

3. Jamaa's Written Truth by Goldfishypuppy (and others)

Jamaa's Written Truth is by far one of my top favorite Animal Jam blogs to date. Ever. The Lessons of Jamaa series is quite amazing. Anyone and everyone can take something out of or learn from at least one of those posts. They're just that awesome.

Obviously, these aren't all of the blogs that have inspired or helped me along my blogging journey. Animal Jam Soul and Star gives me inspiration on how to improve my blog's aesthetics, for example. The Animal Jam Spirit gave me a better understanding of Jamaa's lore and how to incorporate it in my content. And, of course, I can't forget all of YOU GUYS! Your blogs are all wonderful and I read them as often as possible.

So, the question I have for you is: who has inspired you to become an Animal Jam blogger? I think it all depends on when you joined Animal Jam and how long you've been in the community, but even blogs from way back then still have the power to inspire and encourage others to create blogs of their own.

Thanks for reading, Jammers! See you next time!

My Animal Jam Toy Collection

Hey Jammers! Naffy here!

Today, I thought it would be fun to show you guys my Animal Jam toy collection. Unfortunately, my camera is charging at the time I am making this post, and for whatever reason, it seems like it takes YEARS for its battery to reach full power, so I'm just going to show you guys pictures from online of the toys I own. I keep most of them in a little cubby/dresser thing from IKEA, but others are in upstairs in our playroom where we keep most of our toys.

Oh, and one other important thing - some of the toys listed actually belong to my sister, just so you're aware.

Without further delay, let's start!

Ah, yes. The Series 1 Adopt-A-Pets - the toys that started it all! I think I own about eight of them. My favorite is my purple and blue sparkly arctic wolf pet.

Here are all of our figurine packs (you know, the ones that just come with the figurine, a few accessories, and a pet). The raccoon belongs to my sister. :P I really love the pet ducky. Duckies are the best.

These are the three Light Up Friend toys we own. Actually, there isn't a ''we'' in this, because all three of them are my sister's. Hehe!

The adorable cupcake houses! My sister and I both own two each of these. I've always wanted a snow leopard pet.

We each own one Animal Jam den play set. I have the Small Den with the deer figurine, and she has the Princess Castle with the fox figurine. Is it just me, or does the fox kind of remind you of Kit?

We also have the famous Club Geoz Dance party! This bad boy is kept upstairs in the playroom because of its size, but I keep the cute arctic wolf figurine in my room.

And we have the Dress Up Closet, too! Personally, I don't like it very much because I don't think it's worth the price, but it's a great way to store all of your accessories.

We also have some Igloo houses, plushies, and other toys, but I was too lazy to look up pictures of them. Oh well.

Thanks for reading! Tell me about your AJ toy collection (if you have one!) Bye!

Awesome Phantom Den + Epic Fan Art

Hi Jammers!

The Night of the Phantoms celebration is around the corner, and what better way to get ready for it than by designing a Phantom themed den? mammal3890 is a great example of doing just that!

Mammal's den is complete with all things spooky. Congrats, Mammal! Your den will be added to the official AJW list of Epic Dens. :p

Also, a great friend of mine made this wonderful piece of art for me the other day...

Hahaha! It's a picture of me licking some whipped cream with a maraschino cherry on top. Hilarious! I love it!

Thanks for reading. Happy jamming!!

Jammer Opinions #1: The Diamond Shop

Hi y'all! How is everybody?

Today, I thought it would be fun to start a new post series called ''Jammer Opinions'', where I basically just go around Jamaa, finding random Jammers or buddies to ask for their thoughts on a certain subject. This post's subject has to deal with the Diamond Shop. Is it good or bad for Animal Jam?

Feel free to leave your own opinion in the comment section. I'd love to see what everyone thinks!

Ready? Let's begin!

Major Majormajor, a flamingo, said that the Diamond Shop is unfair. I can understand why you believe that, Major. I really do.

Next, we have a great friend of mine named cookes4ever8. Cookies said that the Diamond Shop is a good thing...

But then mentioned how it is unfair to those who are non-member.

Lucky Vontiger said that the Diamond Shop is nice, but it could use some improvements. Hmm... in what ways do you think the Diamond Shop could improve? Lucky disappeared before I could ask her that question, so I want you guys to answer it for her. :P

Lastly, here is DoomyPanda! She had a very long response, which is a good thing, but all-in-all, she talked about how the Diamond Shop negatively affects AJ in multiple ways.

One of the ways it hurts AJ is that it has the ability to screw with the rarity system, and I completely agree with her on that. Items like Hot Cocoa Machines, Weather Clouds, etc. have lost much of their rarity due to being re-released in the Diamond Shop.

Doomy also had an idea to get rid of the Diamond Shop, and move all of the items sold there into regular stores like Epic Wonders, to concentrate the area. Correct me if I'm wrong, Doomy. :P

Well, that's it for today! Perhaps next time I'll ask even more people, but I've just been so incredibly busy lately. School, homework, and the tennis season = little to no free time for me.

Anyways, thanks for reading! See you later!

Unboxing 2 Limited Edition Eclipse Adopt-A-Pet Toys

Hello Jammers! Nafaria here!

The other day I went to Target, and I was finally able to find the brand new limited edition Eclipse Adopt-A-Pet houses!I purchased two of them; one being yellow and the other, blue. Since I bought them, I thought it would be fun to make a little unboxing/review post. Sound good?

Okie dokie! Let's start!

Here is a picture of the two houses laying side-by-side. They're both translucent and very sparkly.

I got a cute, little, blue piglet in the yellow house! It comes with a metallic, silver chef's hat as an accessory, as well as a checklist and a code. Unlike the other Adopt-A-Pets, there are only 24 of the Eclipse pets, and only one of them is considered an ultra rare. The rest do not have any specific rarities.

In the blue house, I got an adorable yellow ducky! I was so excited when I found out I got the duck. Duckies are the best. :P It comes with a silver bow accessory, the checklist, and a code.

As promised, the two codes gave me a piece of the new Rare Eclipse Armor. I got the necklace and the tail ornament. Also, the codes gave me a diamond each, which was nice, too.

In all honesty, the Adopt-A-Pets are fun to collect, but they're a bit too pricey for what is included. I just realized that the Eclipse pets didn't even come with a food bowl! :( *sniff*

Thanks for reading, Jammers. Let me know what your thoughts are on the Eclipse pets in the comments.

Bye bye!
