Hi Jammers! Today I will be doing the annual end-of-year Q&A for 2017. This has been an ongoing tradition for a while now, and every single time is loads of fun! So, without any further ado, let's start!

talonflame80841 asked...

1. Have you watched any version of ducktales?
2. Who is your favorite disney duck?
3. And have you ever played the game Petz?

1. Nope!

2. myself lol
3. Somehow I got myself hooked on
4. I got a chair, a graphics tablet, a ukelele, hygiene/beauty products, and some other things. :)

1. I don't remember the exact date, but it was in late August of 2011.

3. Well, since Christmas has already happened, I'll say it was my chair.
4. A chair. :P

2. I already have. ;) It was pretty awesome. I LOVE Kylo Ren's character and the inner conflict that occurs within him. His character development was phenomenal in that movie.

Rating Famous Jammers' Dens

Hello Jammers!

As you have probably noticed, the Jamaalidays are in full swing; consequently, the majority of Jammers have their dens decorated for the season, especially the famous ones. In this post, I will be reviewing and rating a few famous Jammers' dens and deciding who has the best holiday den! Enjoy!

1. Aparri

The middle floor of Aparri's den was very nicely decorated, but the upstairs and downstairs were spotless. For the most part, the outside also felt pretty abandoned, except for one particular area surrounded by giant red light bulbs. I'd give this den a 5/10.

2. Sethyy

The middle floor of Sethyy's den gave off a wonderful Jamaaliday vibe, and while the upstairs and downstairs were slightly decorated, they didn't release the same joyful feeling. Unfortunately, the outside was not decorated one bit. I'd give this den a 6/10.

3. Shopking (Theshopking)

Please note that these screenshots were taken several days ago. Since then, he has changed his den.

Anyways, Shopking's den was full of Jamaaliday and winter-themed items. I can't recall a single room that wasn't completely decorated. I'd give this den an 8/10.

4. Gellyjones

Gellyjones' den was very pleasing to the eye. It didn't feel too cluttered, and the amount of items in the den was just right. I also really enjoyed the little area with the Mira statue surrounded by trees. I'd give this den a 7/10.

5. Twinkle0122

The outside area of Twinkle's den was very neat, but the interior was rather bland. I'd give this den a 5/10.

And the winner is...

I was planning to review more dens, but a lot of the Famous Jammers had their dens locked, so I couldn't access them. Oh well!

Thanks for reading, and happy jamming!

2 Unreleased Jamaaliday Items

Hi Jammers!

Today, we're going to be talking about two unique items from this year's Jamaaliday Advent Calendar.

The first one is this green and yellow Jamaaliday Leg Armor.

Unreleased Jamaaliday Leg Armor

The origin of this variant is uncertain, but most people think it was hacked into the game from what I can tell.

The second item is this light blue and white pair of Candy Cane Horns.

Unreleased Candy Cane Horns

Actually, in this particular picture, it looks more mint green than light blue.

Like the leg armor, the majority of Jammers believe this was also hacked into Animal Jam by an unknown user. However, when Jammers ask AJHQ how these horns came to be, they simply say it is a rare variant of the item, similar to the black Jamaaliday Socks.

Both of these items are worth a lot, but I'm pretty sure the horns are rarer.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

Animal Jam Box Winter 2017 Unboxing/Review

Hey everybody! Happy Christmas Eve! What are your plans for the holidays?

A few nights ago, my Winter 2017 AJ Box arrived in the mail, so today I will be unboxing and reviewing it. :)

This is what the outside of the box looks like. Last year, there was an arctic wolf face on the top; this year, it has a polar bear face. Cute!

This is what the box looks like when you first open it. I'm already excited!

This box is noticeably a bit larger than the previous boxes. Interesting.

First up is this adorable arctic fox plushie! It's really small yet super cute.

Next is this awesome wooden arctic wolf wall art. That was a slight tongue twister right there.

Unfortunately, this item got damaged during the trip to my mailbox, despite being protected by a layer of bubble wrap.

This is what the promo code card looks like. The code rewards a lovely lit scarf.

How neat!

The next item is a pair of fuzzy socks! They were too tiny for my feet, so I decided to give them to my sister. However, they were very soft and I enjoy them a lot, even if I can't actually wear them.

Ooh! A color changing mug!?

Apparently, depending on how hot or cold your beverage is, the sky on the mug will change color. I'll have to try this out ASAP!

What's an AJ Box without a charm? This time around, it's an arctic fox to fit the winter theme.

The last item is a set of string lights.

While they are very cool and light up well, this item was also damaged. Several of the plastic bulbs were dented and broken. :(

While this box was fantastic, I am disappointed with the fact that not one but TWO of the products were not in the best condition. Hopefully I will be able to contact AJHQ and we can sort out the issue.

Thanks for reading. Happy jamming!

Dash Tag: Animal Jam's Latest Upcoming App

Hey Jammers! Merry (almost) Christmas Eve!

Wow, three posts in a row!? It seems as if I'm having a splurge of ideas all of a sudden. Hehe!

Anyways, today I will be talking about Dash Tag, the latest addition to the Animal Jam app family.

From my understanding, the app is a lot similar to Temple Run or Subway Surfers, two other popular mobile games. It also has a similar 3-D design, like in AJPW.

According to WildWorks, you can collect dozens of different pets, unlock special goodies such as power-ups, outfits and stats, and do daily missions.

Like Temple Run and Subway Surfers, you are being chased by something as your pet runs. In Temple Run, it's a group of evil demon monkeys, and in Subway Surfers, it is a police officer and a K-9. In Dash Tag, you're being chased by... a panda... named Misha.

Ooookkkaaayyy. I wonder why Misha, of all animals, is chasing you. She doesn't even look scary at all!

Moving on now. This app is currently in its beta testing mode, so it isn't publicly available yet. However, if you're a Canadian resident with an Android device, you have the opportunity to help beta test Dash Tag! All you have to do is download the app from the Google Play Store. The app is free to download and play, but you can make in-app purchases for an even better experience.

Thanks for reading. That's the whip!

Adventure Pet Peeves

Hi Jammers! Nafaria here!

Today, I'm going to be listing off some pet peeves of mine that bug me as I play Adventures. If you've ever done an Adventure before (which I'm sure you all have), you have probably experienced at least one of these things.

But before we get onto the list, take a look at these two funny pictures:

Sorry, vegans.

Now onto the list...

- When people immediately leave the Adventure after joining.
- When people are on ''BRB'' for the entire time. Really, if you think you're going to be absent from the computer for a while, you should probably just log off and find a new Adventure group when you're done with whatever you're doing.
- When people hide in or behind obstacles, so it seems like they're helping but they're actually not.
- When you and at least one other person are trying to do one of those twisty-turny puzzles at the same time.
- Lag.
- When the game freezes and logs you out when you're in the middle of the Adventure.
- When the chest screen doesn't pop-up.
- When the chest glitches and won't let you either open it or accept the prize.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading, and happy holidays! I mean Jamaalidays!

DIY Animal Jam Snowglobe (FAIL)

Hi Jammers! With Christmas right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to make my very own snow globe, just to celebrate the holidays even more.  But this snow globe is different than any snow globe you've seen before. It's an ANIMAL JAM snow globe! (Actually, if I'm being completely honest, I ran out of ideas for posts... so here we go.)

Unfortunately, this project did not go as I had planned. You'll find out why soon enough. However, that does not mean you can't attempt this DIY and do it right, so I say give it a go nonetheless!

- Mason jar (or any jar works fine)
- Water
- An Animal Jam figurine of your choice
- Glitter
- Hot glue
- Baby oil (optional)

If you're using a mason jar, the first thing you need to do is seal the rim of the lid and the inside of the lid together with some hot glue. This can be a little difficult to do, since the inside of the lid is very sharp, so if you're younger it might be wise to get some parental help.

If your jar already has a sealed lid, then there's no need to worry about this step.

I found that my figurine rested on the bottom of the lid a teensy bit lower than I thought it would, just enough so that you couldn't see his whole body that well, so I took an empty applesauce cup and hot glued it to the bottom of the lid so my figurine would have a pedestal to stand on.

Then I took some more hot glue and stuck him right to it. I am such a cruel person.

If you want, you can also add fake snow or other wintery decorations for a more festive look.

Next, fill your jar with water - not completely full - somewhere around 3/4 of the way full.

I read somewhere that adding baby oil helps the glitter fall more slowly for a cool effect, so I added some.

Now, take some glitter and sprinkle it in. I had some orange and green colored glitter that I thought would look really neat, so I poured some of that into the mixture, and it did NOT turn out the way I hoped it would.

I guess you could say the glitter kind of melted and turned the baby oil into a nasty layer of yellow which looked like urine. It was super ugly. Trust me.

I don't know what I did wrong, but I have my suspicions: either I added too much baby oil, or the quality of the glitter was total trash.

I'm sure you guys could have much better luck than me, so I suggest trying it for yourself and letting me know how it goes.

Until next time, happy jamming!

Annual Q&A 2017

Image result for animal jam jamaalidays graphicHey Jammers! Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip. If you've been a reader of this blog for the past couple of years, you might remember that I do a special Q&A around the end of the year as a way to cap things off, and this year will be no different.

Your questions don't have to be specifically directed towards me or the Whip. You can ask me anything you want, as long as it's not inappropriate. I want to keep this post rated G/PG out of respect for the younger viewers.

You can leave your questions down in the comment section down below, e-mail them to me (, or ask me on Animal Jam.

Thanks for another wonderful year on AJ, everybody! The Q&A post will be up on New Year's Day. :)

Important News

Hey Jammers! I have a quick announcement to make. If you were planning on coming to the Jamaaliday party, this might be a little sad for you. Unfortunately, I am going to have to cancel the party because I'm visiting my cousin in college for the day. I will still try and find another time to reschedule it, but for now, the party is on hold. Sorry about that! :(

However, I will be getting up the den design contest in the next little bit, so stay tuned for that. Thanks guys!

The Phantoms' Next Attack CONSPIRACY THEORY

Hi Jammers! Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip!

My friend Loveminecraft and I were doing an adventure (Storming the Fortress) together the other day when we noticed something very shocking and compelling.

As you all know, Club Geoz was invaded and destroyed by the phantoms a couple of months ago in October, with some help from the mysterious Lines of Power.

Well, in Storming the Fortress, there is an area where the phantoms are being divided into groups and sent off into one of three different portals to Jamaa. One of these portals leads to Club Geoz.

Keep in mind that this adventure was released in the springtime earlier this year, and Club Geoz didn't fall until the fall (heh, see what I did there?).

Where do the other two portals lead to, you might ask?

None other than the Basement of Secrets and Captain Melville's Juice Hut.

Does this mean the phantoms are going to attack these two precious locations as well!? I sincerely hope not, but we can't be sure.

Thanks for reading. Happy jamming!
