Testing Out AJ WikiHow Tutorials (PART 2)

Hey Jammers! It is now time for the second part of the Testing Out AJ WikiHow Tutorials mini series. In this post, I will be testing a tutorial called ''How to Be a Homeless Newborn on Animal Jam''. LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE... y'all ready for this!? (*cue the Space Jam theme music*)

The first step to being a homeless newborn is to have the right kind of animal, which in this case is a bunny rabbit. Being a newborn will get you adopted ''in a jiffy''.

Next, you must pick out some worn and tattered clothing to wear, such as the old hood and cape from the Shiveer Shoppe.

Now you need to pick your colors. The tutorial says to make it look like you're cold, tired, and sick with wounds and blood marks. I think I did a somewhat decent job here.

Next, the tutorial says that I had to go out into Jamaa Township and announce to the world that I am indeed a lost newborn that is only one hour old. Since no one answered my plea, I decided to check the Pillow Room.

Much to my dismay, No one was in there!

Thankfully, a nice wolf showed up and asked me if I was trying to get adopted.

The tutorial said that if I were ever to be asked such a question as this, I would reply with ''Yes, please. I need money.''

My new house was totally awesome.

So there you have it. I successfully completed the art of getting adopted as a lost, sickly, newborn child.

I hope you enjoyed today's funny little post. That's the whip!

How to Earn 20,000 Gems INSTANTLY!

Hi Jammers! Do you want to know how to earn 20,000 gems in a flash!? I mean, that's why you clicked this post, right?

Don't worry. This is 100% NOT clickbait.

What, you don't believe me?

Well, let me explain!

The newest Animal Jam app to hit the online stores, AJ Academy: Amazing Animals, is the perfect way to learn more about the many different and diverse animals that roam our beautiful planet. Basically, the app is ''AJ Minibooks On-The-Go''.

As you may already know, just about every minibook on the computer version of Animal Jam has a little quiz on the back. If you answer all five questions in the quiz correctly, then you are rewarded with a trophy for your den.

The minibooks on this new app are almost the same way, except they reward you with codes that can be redeemed on both Animal Jam and Play Wild! And get this: there are a total of 29 minibooks included on the app, which means 29 codes!

Each code gives you 750 gems. When you multiply 750 by 29, you get 21,750, which means 21,750 free gems for you! You've all just won the Jamaa lottery, my dudes.

Thanks to a few Animal Jam social media accounts, I've been able to rack up a list of all 29 codes. Enjoy!

All of these codes have been added to the Working Codes page. You can access it by clicking on the button on the side of the blog.

Thanks for reading, and be sure to tell your friends about these new codes!

New Promo Items: Alpha Armor + Fan Art

Hey everybody! It's Nafaria here, and I'm back with another post. :) Unfortunately for me, I start my sophomore year of high school tomorrow, and I'm not even sure what the heck I'm doing.

Anyways, several new promo items have been spotted in Jamaa this past few days

The design of these items is very similar to the famous alpha sword, which you can get by redeeming 96 Adopt-A-Pet codes. You can get the helmet by redeeming 150 codes, and the gauntlets for 180. The wings can be obtained by redeeming the promo code that comes with the ultra rare pet from the limited edition Eclipse Adopt-A-Pet toys. Interesting!

To end today's post, I'd like to put some epic new fan art I received a few days ago in the spotlight.

The top masterpiece was drawn by millyiscool, and the one on the bottom was drawn by Sparkling554. Thanks so much you guys! You're both so kind and talented. <3 Remember, as much as I love getting fan art, never feel pressured to make me some. It's totally up to you.

That's the whip!

Testing Out AJ WikiHow Tutorials (PART 1)

Hi Jammers! Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip blog.

Today, I am going to be testing out some weird AJ WikiHow tutorials. If you don't know what I'm talking about, click here.

There will be several parts to this post (I suppose it's kind of a mini series). In this particular post, I will be testing out the tutorial called ''How to Be a Fairy on Animal Jam''.

The first step is to choose a cute animal. The article recommended to use a fox, eagle, or toucan if you're a member, so I decided to go with a fox.

Next I needed to get me some fairy wings. In this case, I chose some icy blue faerie wings.

After that, I had to accessorize my fairy with a cute hat and necklace. The article said the lollipop necklace is the best for fairies, but since I didn't have one of those (and they weren't available at the Summer Carnival... grr), I chose a black, short, rare spiked collar, because aren't those just the CUTEST!??!!?111!?11!!11?!!1?

And what's even more adorable is the gingerbread mask. Aren't I just the most lovable thing you've ever seen in your entire LIFE!!!!11!!1??!!1??111??1!!!??

Next, I had to choose my colors. The article said that if you want to be a fire fairy, you should choose red, orange, and yellow shades, and if you want to be a water fairy, you should choose blue shades. I decided on using red, yellow, and blue, because who says I can't be both!?

Just look at that gorgeous thing.

The next step to being a fairy on Animal Jam is to have a sweet, fairy-appropraite personality.

Next, I had to go out into Jamaa Township and dance, because that's just what AJ fairies do, I guess.

And that's it! This tutorial is TOTALLY worth your time. ;)

See? Even this little piggy thinks so, too...

I hope you enjoyed today's post. Comment down below if you're anticipating part two and three!

Animal Jam Box Summer 2017 Unboxing/Review

Hey Jammers! It is now time for the long-awaited Summer 2017 AJ Box unboxing/review post that I have been promising you all for a while. I recently received my box in the mail earlier this week, and I couldn't wait to see what was inside!

Without further ado, let's start!

This is what the box looks like on the outside. You can see that mine was slightly damaged during the mailing process, but it's okay because none of the items inside were hurt. :)

Here is a side shot of the outside of the box.

This is what we see when we open the box. I can't even begin to contain my excitement!

The first item is this cool shark charm. If you've been subscribed to the AJ Box ever since the Winter 2017 one, then you'll know that each box comes with a charm that you can clip to a chain bracelet that was given in the Winter Box.

This next item is probably my favorite; it's a super cute octopus plushie! It's really soft, too.

The third item is a ''Jammer Canteen''. In case you don't know, a canteen is a small water bottle that is often used by soldiers or campers.

Next is a deck of Animal Jam playing cards! I'll definitely be using these to play games like War with my siblings.

Here is a picture of the deck spread out.

Following the deck of cards is this rad Surf's Up! t-shirt. Although the size of the shirt is a medium (and I wear size medium shirts), it's huge on me.

Next is this awesome drawstring bag. I think I'll give this to my sister, because she likes to take practically her entire closet with her in the car every time we go somewhere.

Lastly is this neat beach towel, with two adorable sea turtles on it. The towel was tightly compressed so that it could fit inside the box, so it's really wrinkly. That's alright, though, because we can always just wash and iron it.

And we can't forget the wonderful promo gift that comes with the box. This time around, it's a shark tail!

Well, that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what your favorite part about the Summer 2017 AJ Box was!

Thanks for reading, and happy jamming!

Unreleased/Secret Items in Peck's Den

Hello there, Jammers!

Today I am going to be showing you guys some cool, possibly unreleased items in AJHQ's custom-designed Peck's Den. If you're unfamiliar with these kinds of posts, basically about every update AJHQ designs a den for all Jammers to visit. You can access these dens from the Epic Dens menu. It's a big blue button; you can't miss it!

In these dens, sometimes you might find a few items that aren't released yet. These are what we call unreleased items. Often times there will also be one special item that, when clicked, will open up a secret shop where you can actually purchase that item for your own. Cool, right?

Without further ado, let's begin taking a look at the cool items we can find.

Aww! A cute Greely plushie! I don't understand why these haven't been released yet.

I've never seen this before. It must be some kind of a pet treasure chest.

The secret item that you can purchase for only 700 gems is an antique window!

This item is pretty neat. It appears to be a strand of... lemur lights!?

And lastly, a Sir Gilbert plushie!

That's the whip!

Solar Eclipse in Jamaa

Hi Jammers! Today is a very special update day, so let's see what it's in store for us this time around.

The total solar eclipse that is set to be visible on August 21st all across the United States of America has found its way to Jamaa! This rare occasion has caused several lands to go dark, such as Appondale, the Lost Temple of Zios, and Jamaa Township! To celebrate, a bunch of solar eclipse-themed items will be arriving in stores throughout the event. Be sure to click on the banners scattered around Jamaa for some cool solar eclipse facts as well.

If you plan on viewing the eclipse, you need to use protective eye wear. Looking at the sun can cause a number of health problems for your eyes, including blindness.

A new Animal Jam app is here! It's called AJ Academy: Amazing Animals, and it's free for all Apple, Android, and Amazon mobile devices! Learn more about wildlife with this awesome new app!

National Honeybee Day is coming up, so look out for bee items in the stores, and don't forget to adopt a pet honeybee while you can!

The final page doesn't say much about painting, but now all plushies can be placed in both land and ocean dens! Hooray!

Thanks for reading. Let me know what you guys think about this update in the comments! Bye Jammers!
