ReplyDeleteI hate Animal Jam. They sent me a Jam-A-Gram saying my art was featured in Jammer Central, but it had no gift. When I looked in Jammer Central, I didn't see any art. WHOOP-DE-DOO. This isn't the first time this has happened. Once they sent me a Jam-A-Gram saying my art was in the Daily Explorer. I was excited, only to be attacked by a huge blob of disappointment; it had my name on there, BUT THE ART WASN'T. I cannot stand the moderation and the community. It's like if a bug burps a stupid, dim-witted six year old whines that it's your fault and they go: REPORT REPORT REPORT REPORT
ReplyDeleteI was trying to joke around when this butthurt arctic wolf with the most generic clothing I've ever seen goes up to me and they were saying things like, "You smell" I thought they were joking too so I tried to go along with it, and then they just went, "You're ruining the time for the people that like to come here to roleplay. Don't you have some friends you can annoy, or can you at least leave so you stop making everyone despise your existence? This game needs to at least have one person that has more than an IQ of 1, unlike you." Or something like that. I started flat out crying (Not the WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH crying, just silently). Wanna know why I cried? I've had the same problem my WHOLE FRICKING LIFE. For example, in Kindergarten, it was raining so we couldn't eat outside. Some boys were singing rain rain go away, and they said it was working. Being the gullible child I was back then, I started singing along is hopes of it actually working. The MOMENT I started singing, they glared at me and said that I was making it worse and I should go away. I cannot stand how much I am miscluded (if that's even a word) when it comes to things like projects! In an advanced program I used to do, every single time we did something that involved multiple people, nobody asked me for ideas. Heck, I don't think they even ever considered it! Anyways, more about Animal Jam. It's moderated by blobs of jello. I have yet to see the slightest sign of logic or reasoning when it comes to their moderating. "Hey! Let's make it so that you literally can't say things like a single letter, but let's make it so that you can date pedophiles!" I'M SERIOUS. They won't let you say things like 'e' and 'w', but you CAN say "needs boy/girl". WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! They are blind to what to players want. You saw how many people wanted otters to be for gems. AJHQ watches YouTube; heck they even have an account on it. And then what happens? HURP DE DURP, DIAMONDS FTW LOL. A lot of people make the argument that they need money. But as I stated before, people get mad over the slightest things, so here's how it'd work out:
Ignoring Feedback = Poor Decisions
Poor Decisions = Mad Players (specifically members)
Mad Players = Quitting
Quitting = Cancelling Membership
Cancelling Membership = Lack of Money
Lack of Money = Game Shut Down
Also, if anyone joining AJ had a little intelligence, they would automatically realize how stuck-up (Julian2 Julian2 Julian2), snobby and immature most of the community is and leave. And no, all the member stuff usually doesn't make the non-members 'join the club', but quit. I just can't stand the dumb game and I don't care about it anymore. Around every corner there's drama, scammers and everything in between. I would stay around just to see the updates, but even those are boring, dull and full of disappointment. Goodbye.

I hate it too. I honestly do. But the only reason I keep playing is because I have real friends here. In the real world I don't have many friends. Even if some of you think of me as not-a-friend although you say I am your friend, it still makes me feel better. You can't physically punch someone online.

Their email reply team is horrible, and it always has been, at least since I joined AJ. They almost always give you robotic responses that NEVER ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AT ALL, and other ties they flat out lie. I got hacked, and I tried to tell AJHQ to bump up their security. My friends got hacked and I tried to tell AJHQ. The replies I got were just like "We can assure that ALL of our players are 1000% safe and can never get hacked no matter what!"
Then tell me AJ, HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN ALL OF OUR ITEMS MISSING?
I also have a problem where all of my locked accounts are permanently locked because of an issue with AJ's system. I explained to them what the problem was, and all I got was the robot answer of "Update your flash player or something" even though in the original email I specifically said my flash is up to date and I tried to unlock my account on at east 2 different systems. They also said they'd reply within 48 hours, and do you know how long it took them to reply? At least 60 hours
This game isn't fun anymore and will never be what it used to be, unless I'm just biased. But even if I am just biased, I can't ignore all of AJ's horrible flaws. I'd continue with this comment but I think it's already too long

DeleteYup! I love animaljam but AJHQ itself is the stupidest thang ever to be invented on earth. Like for instance the safe chat isn't safe chat anymore you can't even say awwwwwwwwww you have to say aww you can't say e or t or y or any letters. I get that aj wants to make money but the more em ember stuff they release will make NONMEMBERS want to quit more then they will quit then all you have left are stuck up little bratty self centred scammers and hackers and members. I still play because I enjoy he game and I love hanging out with my friends. On it. But really the. Game it self is super fun with your friends and stuff but AJHQ IT SELF IS SSOOOOOOOO STUPID. Some parts of aj are so stupid but you know what I live with it otters were diamonds I people complained and I just ignored for example I ignore stupid JAMMERS and just mind my own business CUZ that's what a good jammer would do

I know, right?! I only go because of the friends I have and the updates and stuff. I want to see AJHQ's reaction to what happens in the end when everyone quits and they lose money. I'm sorta anti-social. The only friends I have in real life are my siblings, my church friends, and my cousins, that's it! Making friends on AJ is so easy. You just talk to a person then ask them to be your buddy, they WONT care about what you look like in real life. There's no judgement (sometimes), unlike in real life. Who knows? I just might be too addicted to Animal Jam. I may be too lazy to get up from the computer, but, I'm actually really shy in real life when I'm around people I don't know. I understand you guys, I would feel bad to just quit and leave my friends, but, AJ is a place where I could express myself without caring about what people think of me. I've been keeping my emotions away from others for a while now, this was the only time I brought it up. I WANT to quit, just not now.

Can I rant about AJHQ's little art thing?
DeleteFirst of all, the program itself is terrible. WHY NO LAYERS OR ZOOM IN TOOL? WHY CAN'T WE CHOOSE HOW BIG THE BRUSH IS WITH ONE OF THOSE LITTLE SLIDEY THINGS? WHY ARE THE BRUSHES THEMSELVES SO LIMITED? Seriously. You've only got a line, a circle, a rectangle, a triangle, a paint brush, an airbrush, a bucket and a smudge tool. Why none of the tools like pencil, pen, blend, dodge/burn, color picker, select tool, the options to move around, change the size and rotate parts of the picture or even a fricking ERASE TOOL??? I hate how they pick a bunch of scribbles instead of drawings people worked hard on. I spent three hours on a Warrior Cats drawing and I haven't seen it in the Gallery, but it makes me so upset when instead I see pictures that people completed in five minutes with a mouse, and it's just a bunch of different colored LINES! Why can't they display the drawings people actually worked hard on and put their all into it in the gallery, and not the ones that are just dots with an overuse of the smudge tool? Also, you've gotta love how easy art theft is on that site. How hard is it to write the usernames of the players and not their animal name? Someone could just get a new animal, change it to that name, and say, "Uh duh dats mah art." That's just my little rant. Next time I'll rant about 'celebrity' players.

Yes, that is true. AJ is very addicting. Not to me anymore though. Since the very first day I played AJ, I had fun. But now, AJ is not what is used to be. Scammers, hackers, love, members-only items, boring updates, and even more things that makes AJ boring to me. I want to play a game that I actually have FUN playing. AJ used to be fun to play, but not anymore. The only reason I play AJ is because of my friends on AJ. Remember when I said I lost interest in AJ? I've been thinking about quitting a month ago. My final decision is that I will quit. After December. I might come back one day, or maybe never. I will visit blogs often. I will still comment once in a while. It has been a great pleasure being friends with you guys. You guys cheer me up, make me laugh, and are always there for me. You guys are the best! :) Keep jammin'!!

ReplyDeleteI get it. As I had been making friends irl I was starting to pull away from my aj friends. Over the summer I started a channel, and got into it again. Then my mom forced me into a break of a little over a month. Ever since I came back I haven't really been able to get absorbed. It kills me, because the friends I do have one aj, I have no way if keeping in touch after I leave because of the new chat. :((

I used to LOVE Animal Jam. Until JANUARY 1ST, 2014. It was a horrible game after that. Free Chat went DOWN THE FREAKING DRAIN. SCAMS, HACKS, AND JUNK LIKE THAT LIKE THAT. I'm glad I barely play anymore. I can't STAND how AJHQ NEVER helps with problems, are greedy for moola, AND ARE LIKE ASLEEP ON THE FREAKING JOB. AJHQ never helped anyone in the first place. They only helped Julian2, and the "famous" jammers. AJHQ is stuck up. I used to be like ANIMAL JAM YAAAAAAAY! But now.. I'm like, What happened, AJ? I HATE IT -RAGE-.
