Hi there! ^-^ Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip! Before I get started, I would like to remind you of the party that will be taking place this evening:
Today, we're going to be talking about something that I don't think anyone in the community has ever mentioned/noticed before, and while I may be wrong about that, I still find this interesting little piece of information very interesting, and I'm sure you will, too. Whew, wasn't that a long sentence? xD
Anyway, if you've ever stopped by the flag shop to purchase, well, flags, of course, you may have easily overlooked the ginormous cash register sitting on a large front desk further in the background of the shop.
There's been plenty of ''Monday Mystery'' posts about this cash register as well as the other items you see sitting on the desk, but if you look closely, you will see that the cash register has two tabs with strange symbols on them.
My theory is that these symbols represent the official gem currency symbol for Jamaa. Just like Americans use the ¢ sign for pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, the animals of Jamaa use the gem sign for gems! :o
The gem symbol is very similar to the American cents sign; instead of a slash going through a c, there is a slash going through a g. I attempted to draw this sign on MS Paint, and I sort of failed, but that's okay. o3o
I hope you can all come! :D

It doesn't look as... hmm, shall I say... ancient as I'd like to it be.
I wonder what the currency symbol for diamonds and tickets is... is the diamond sign just a diamond? Is the ticket sign just a ticket? Let me know your thoughts and ideas! ^.^
Bye Jammers!
Hmmmm....... That is interesting......

Naffy, you always find things that I never would have noticed myself. Anyway- I think I'd like it to look a bit more "ancient" too.

DeleteThat's a pretty signature you got there, how'd you make it?
ReplyDeleteActually, my friend EtherealComet (she's not very active these days) made it for me. ^.^
DeleteSorry I won't be able to attend your party! I have an awards ceremony at my school :(
ReplyDeleteBut anyways that's a really interesting post. I never thought to look closely at anything in Jamaa before... hmm.
