Hello! ^.^
Today I have some fantastic breaking news to share.
Earlier this afternoon, I was surfing Animal Jam blogs when I came across Balaur's Animal Jam Twister. You can visit the site here.
If you click on the link above, you might notice that the most recent post regards Enchanted Earth.
So, to refresh your memory, Enchanted Earth was supposed to be an Animal Jam themed toy line of stuffed plush and figurines. You might remember this post from last spring:
The first character in the Enchanted Earth series was supposedly Naya the Fox, as shown in the image.
The toy line was said to be released sometime "in the near future", which for most of us meant the summer of 2015 or autumn 2015. Clearly that has not happened, and will not happen anytime in the next few months. But trust me, it will happen.
How do I know this for sure, you ask?
Well, if you take a look at WildWorks' Twitter Page, they made a tweet not too long ago about how they've appointed Jazwares as their master toy partner.
See what that article says!?
"Jazwares will develop figures, play set, and plush toys, that will launch globally in 2016."
Enchanted Earth may be returning after all! :D
Spread the word to your friends!
JAZWARES IS DEVELOPING ANIMAL JAM-THEMED TOYS THAT WILL LAUNCH GLOBALLY IN 2016!
I cant wait till it comes out!!! :D

Yay! I forgot about thatXD I might get the figurines. I'm kinda grown out of play sets but not stuffies!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go and do public protests about Enchanted Earth. Not only is it just an ad for a terrible virtual community, but it's MEANT ONLY FOR GIRLS. Look, Animal Jam is supposed to be for both genders, so you can't make gender-targeted merchandise. Besides, I hate the whole "I LEIK PANK EN' SHOPPYN EN' POTTIYES AND YA CAN STAHP MEH 'CAUSE EHMA GUUURL" stereotype. If AJHQ is going to ENFORCE THAT on the ENTIRE FEMALE COMMUNITY, then COUNT US OUT BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT TO BE PORTRAYED LIKE THIS!
ReplyDeleteYeah, but let's face it. There are more female players on Animal Jam than male players. If Animal Jam is such a hit in the gaming world, then why wouldn't they take advantage of that and start selling in the marketing franchise? It means more money, which helps create a better game system, which helps provide a higher pay rate for their employees.
DeleteI've learned this concept in business class last year. Every company has a target. For example, Ripstiks are aimed towards teenage boys. On the other hand, Frozen dolls are targeted towards girls ages 3-8, give or take. Since 85% of the registered players on Animal Jam are indeed, girls, it makes sense to target their toys towards, well, girls.
Anyway, that's just my opinion.
You can't prove that 85% of the community is female, Naffy. That's a giant percentage, but I never end up seeing more boys then girls. Besides, the game itself, as terrible as it is, isn't targeted towards one gender or another, which makes it playable by everyone, unlike SOME games out there. However, a merchandise line with a different target audience could be really confusing because, again, a girly toy line for a game meant to be played by everyone DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. It doesn't help that it's an advertisement for a terrible game with little to no play value due to paywalls EVERYWHERE, have little to no effort put into moderating the game and ZERO customer service, and a community of stupid scamming idiots that just want to ruin your day.
DeleteDO NOT BE DECEIVED. THIS GAME IS AMONG THE WORST I HAVE EVER PLAYED AND YOU WILL REGRET FALLING FOR THE CUTE AND HAPPY EXTERIOR ONCE YOU ARE IN THE TRUE LAND OF DARKNESS IT TRULY IS. CHILDREN DO NOT DESERVE TO PLAY THIS. CHILDREN DESERVE MUCH MORE THEN THAT. THEY ARE NOT IDIOTS AND THEY DESERVE TO HAVE FUN AND BE HAPPY. STAY AWAY FROM THE DEMON THAT IS ANIMAL JAM!
Of course I can't prove that exactly 85% of the community is female. That was just a range. But from the looks of it, there's a LOT of girls. But, assuming you did not read it correctly, my comment was based on my opinion, not facts.
DeleteI have to agree with you on some parts, though. Animal Jam is directed towards both boys and girls. Maybe they cancelled the Enchanted Earth line because the products were too "girly", and decided to produce a toy line of some sort that would include both genders. Perhaps that toy line is the one that will be launched in 2016.
Enchanted earth could just be an earlier version of part of the toy line. They will probably make a series for boys aswell
