AJ Masterpiece Fraud

Hey Jammers! Nafaria here! I'm back with another post.

Recently a handful of people in the AJ community have somehow discovered a way to convert regular, every day image files into .ajart files. This means that it IS possible to take a picture off of the Internet and make it into a masterpiece.

Take a look at these two works of art, for example.

The lines are too smooth on these two masterpieces for them to have been created in AJ paint. They're beautiful drawings for sure, but cheating by converting these original works of art into masterpieces is just dirty.

Several days ago, IDozAnimalJamz made a video on how to do this.

It probably won't be long before AJHQ does something about this growing issue. Hopefully they do something about it, because fake art screws up the quality of REAL masterpieces.

Well, that's all I have for you today. If you do happen to know how to convert ordinary image files into .ajart files, I suggest you play it safe and not act upon it.

Black Jamaaliday Socks

Hi everyone! :)

Today we're going to be talking about an immensely rare and unusual item: the black Jamaaliday socks.

If you watched Julian2's video on the top ten rarest NM items a few days ago, he talked about these mysterious socks for a little while.

I actually didn't know that these socks existed until I watched his video. :P

Here's what the socks look like:

They appear as any regular pair of Jamaaliday socks, just... black.

There are many theories on how these socks came to be, such as the one Julian explained in his video, where AJHQ stopped releasing the black socks in the Jamaaliday gifts. Another popular theory states that the original color of the socks just ''glitched'' and became black.

Whatever the reason for these socks' existence, I have to say that the socks are very stylish.

A Girl Who Played AJ Got Murdered!?

Hey Jammers!

This is going to be a rather serious post, since we're going to be discussing serious things like murder.

Before I get into any explaining, let me give you a link to a video about this horrific tragedy. Click here if you're interested in watching it. I suggest you do (if you're comfortable with it), because at the end it shows why exactly I'm making this post.

Now for the story.

So, last summer a fifteen-year-old boy alledgedly lured twelve-year-old Kailey Vijil out of her house around midnight by asking for help looking for his lost cat. He took Kailey to an open field, and then strangled her with a t-shirt and left her body lying lifelessly on the ground.

According to charging documents, the boy tried the same tactics on another girl twenty minutes prior to when he knocked on Kailey's door.

Sad, isn't it?

As you can see, Kailey is giving a hug to Liza at the SLC Comic Con!

You can make an inference that Kailey liked to play Animal Jam. Or maybe she was just at Comic Con and decided to give a creepy giant panda a hug. You never know! :P

But, let's be honest here... she probably played AJ.

Kailey, you will forever be remembered by your family and friends, and the Animal Jam community.

Snowyclaw is Now a Member of AJHQ

That's right, Jammers! Snowyclaw is now working at AJHQ as a digital media intern.

She's going to be working with the community and marketing teams throughout the school year.

AJHQ released the first episode of a new mini-series on their YouTube channel a few days ago called Snowy Presents. In this episode, Snowy collabs with AJ artist Artymis and gives us some art/masterpiece tips.

Snow Leopard Slippers

Entertainment Center Den Tip

What You Need:

Bamboo Fence

Mini Game Arcade System (any)

Place two wavy bookshelves a reasonable distance away from each other and then put the arcade system right in between them. Stick a bamboo fence in front of it and voila! Your very own entertainment center! ^.^

NEW Animal Jam Snow Fort Den Play Set

Hey Jammers! Guess what!? :D I've got some exciting news to share with the world today...

Jazwares recently just released a new Animal Jam play set! It's a Snow Fort den, and comes with a snow leopard figurine, two accessories, and a couple of miniature den items, too!

Here's what it looks like:

It costs about $15.00, and you can either purchase it at Toys 'R Us or online.

I personally think the snow leopard figurine is absolutely adorable. ^.^

So... if we add all of the currently available AJ den play sets, that equals four, right? Therefore, this marks the fourth AJ den play set so far. Pretty neat, I must say.

I wonder what kinds of items come with the code included with the set. If you guys know anyone who has the items that come with this set, please tell me!

Peck's Earring

Hi everyone! :)

So, if you've been keeping up with the Animal Jam community lately (or just the game in general), you'll know that Peck is apparently missing her earring.

You know, the little jingle bell that is pierced on the end of Peck's ear?

Yeah, that one.

In a secret room in the Front Lines adventure, Peck somehow misplaced her precious earring, and Greely, for whatever reason, found it sitting in a pool. But that's somewhat besides the point... I think. :/

What really bugs me about Peck's earring, though, is how the ear it is pierced onto alternates in different images and graphics of Peck.

Here's a quick example.

See? The earring and the thin purplish-pinkish ribbon swap ears. o.0

Again, do you get what I'm trying to say?

I mean, this graphic of the old version of Peck doesn't even HAVE an earring OR a ribbon on any of her ears!

Don't you think that all of this is kind of odd?

It may or may not have anything to do with the whole ''missing earring'' jazz, but it's quite interesting to observe how the artists at AJHQ interpret where Peck's accessories should go.

What do you guys think? Which Peck do you like better: the old Peck, or the new Peck? I think both are pretty decent.
