IRL AJ DIYS (Made By Other Jammers)
Hey Jammers!
The Animal Jam community is full of creative, artistic, and talented people. These people express their talents through many different mediums, including videos, drawings, and stories.
But there are some people who have shown their talent through crafting and creating IRL AJ DIYS, whether it be for themselves or their AJ toys. Today, I thought it would be fun to showcase some of these DIYs. Enjoy!
This person made a den portal for their figurines! How cute!
This person made a feather mask, and I have to say, it looks almost identical the one in the game! Great job, whoever you are!
This person made a New Year's Party Hat for their stuffed animal. Yes, I know for a fact it is the New Year's Party Hat because this person posted the instructions on the AJ Amino app. Click here if you want to see for yourself!
This person made some armor for their AJ figurine out of polymer clay.
This head feather was also constructed out of polymer clay.
This spiked collar, however, is not made of polymer clay. It's actually a CAKE! Can you believe it? To give it that shiny effect, they used mirror glaze. Fantastic!
That's all for today. Happy jamming, and see you guys later! Bye! :)

Foods I Ate as a Kid
Hey Jammers! Naffy here!
I've been thinking a lot about my childhood lately, which might seem a little weird, but... once you get to high school, you start wishing you were a six year-old again. Trust me.
When I was younger, I was pretty picky. Nowadays, I'll eat almost anything, but back then, the only foods I recall eating were things such as plain, buttered noodles and green beans.
Anyways, today I thought it would be fun to show off some other foods I used to like as a kid. I must warn you - some of these foods I would NEVER go near right now. With that being said, enjoy!

(I continued to eat this even as an eight year-old)
(I freakin' love this stuff)
(YUMMY)
(EWW)
(I would take the noodles out and put them on my fingers and wear them like rings)
(I wouldn't eat the Sloppy Joes with the bun, oddly enough)
(I used to call them Cini-Mini's and sometimes I still do)
(I would dip the graham crackers in the milk and eat them as a snack before bed)
(I would take a piece of salami to my room and eat it as I read a book for a half an hour after school)
(I love Costco)
(I also love Nesquik)
(They would serve these at lunch sometimes, and since I didn't really like sandwiches, I would just eat the little bits of crust off and throw away the rest)
(If you brought these as a treat for everyone after a sports game, you'd instantly be the most popular one on the team)
(I still eat lots of bread)
Let me know if you ever ate some of these foods as a kid, and be sure to specify which ones in the comments! Adios!

Has Animal Jam Hit Rock Bottom?
Hey Jammers! Naffy here.
Today's topic is a rather serious one, but I suppose it depends on how you take in the information, so... it's up to you.
As you know, yesterday was an update day. I'm going to give my honest opinion here - it wasn't great. Most of it was mediocre. I guess the whole ''Adventures For Everybody'' thing is good, but who knows how long that will last.
What really makes me hate this update is the new animal; or, more specifically, the animal's dance action.

Did...
Did that horse just...
D-D-D-DAB!?
Animal Jam, you've hit a new low.
If you don't know what ''dabbing'' is, it's ''a style of hip hop dance that involves dropping one’s head with one arm raised and resting the face inside the elbow of the other arm, which essentially resembles the gesture of a polite attempt at muffling a loud sneeze'', according to Know Your Meme.
It went mainstream after football players in Atlanta started doing it in the summer of 2015, and the dab has been a very popular trend since then.
Dabbing isn't necessarily a bad thing (unless you make it a bad thing... don't smoke, kids), it's just... it ticks me off. It doesn't make you cool, it makes the people around you CRINGE. It's stupid.
Now, about a year and half after the trend SHOULD have died, Animal Jam gives us a new animal that actually performs the dab.
AJHQ is trying to be ''cool'', per say - and that is the main reason why I believe this game has officially hit rock bottom.
The addition of the words ''swaggy'' and ''kawaii'' to the pool of names you can choose for your animal is one example. Another is this triple inner tube item that is clearly very similar to a fidget spinner shape-wise.

And, of course, we cannot forget the dabbing horse.
That's all for today. Let me know what your opinions are on the new animal. Yay or nay?
Bye Jammers!

The Crystal Pegasus Armor Set
Hey Jammers!
Recently, a bunch of new promo items were discovered. The set as a whole is called the Crystal Pegasus Armor.
The head part of the set is the Crystal Pegasus horn, and it comes in four different colors. In fact, they all come in blue, white, pink, and black.

Like most armor sets, the back item is a pair of wings, and this one is no different.
The foot item is a pair of Crystal Pegasus gauntlets.
And the final item is a Crystal Pegasus tail.
According to AJ Wiki, you can obtain these items through a code from a new AJ toy called the Gem Squad. However, some users are skeptical about this and are doubting whether or not the set is actually a promo, because promo gifts don't typically come in multiple color variants. Whatever the case, the good news is that the set is entirely for all Jammers.
What are your speculations? Let me know in the comments.
Thanks for reading. Bye!

Animal Jam's UGLIEST RIMS
Hey Jammers! Welcome to the Animal Jam Whip!
Today, we are going to be talking about RIMs. RIM is an acronym for Rare Item Monday.
Rare Item Monday has been an ongoing tradition since 2012, where every Monday either a remake of an item or an entirely new item is put into stores for 24 hours. Most of the time, these items are exclusive to members and cost a rather large chunk of gems.
Sadly, the quality of these items isn't always up to par, so I'm going to show images of some RIMs that I find particularly... well, ugly. Enjoy!
