My friend purplestarclub made this Animal Jam tag, and I thought it would be fun to answer it! Let's get to it, shall we?

8. Not very much... say maybe... 2 or 3? I only like rares if they complete a look. What sucks is if the item is super duper rare and impossible to get. :I

Also, today's new item is so attractive that I just HAD to make an Elsa outfit with it.

Don't I look absolutely GORGEOUS!? :3

Besides, the cold never bothered me anyway.

DIY Clay Phantom Figurine

Hey hey hey! ^.^ Today I'm going to show you how to make your very own DIY clay phantom figurine! This was super fun and easy to make (although I nearly burned the house down), and I hope it's the same way for you. Let's get cookin'!

What You'll Need:

- Black polymer clay

- White polymer clay

- A place mat

- Hot glue (optional)

- Mod Podge (optional)

Preheat your oven based on what kind of polymer clay you are using. I used Sculpey polymer clay and preheated my oven to 275 degrees and baked it for 15 minutes.

Step 1: Take a medium-sized chunk of black polymer clay and mold it into a relatively thick pancake-ish shape.

Step 2: Take another chunk of black polymer clay and split it in half. Mold each half into little phantom legs.

 Step 3: Repeat step 2.

 Step 4: Take a small chunk of white polymer clay and mold it into a thin pancake shape (tinier than the black pancake shape) and stick it right on top of the black pancake shape.

 Step 5: Take a super tiny chunk of black polymer clay and roll it into a tiny ball. Place it on top of the white clay.

Step 6: Assemble your phantom and gently place it on a cookie sheet. Stick it in the oven based on the instructions included with your clay. 

*If some of the parts to your phantom break off, fix it up with some hot glue.*

*If your polymer clay is not colored/lost some of its color during the baking process, paint it.*

*If you want to add some shine to your figurine, paint it with some mod podge.*

Ta-da! Now you have a cute lil' phantom charm! :D It might have been more fitting to save this DIY for October (Night of the Phantoms month!), but why not post it now? :p

Hi Jammers! Ugh, I'm so sorry for yet ANOTHER late post. >.< My life has been so busy lately and it's not affecting me in a healthy way.

Today I'm going to be answering yet another tag. Tags are fun and all, but it seems like tags have gotten kind of repetitive on this particular blog. Once again, huge apologies for the lack of high-quality content I hope you all expect. :c I promise tomorrow's post will be better.

2. I think manatees are pretty cool, but I have this huge phobia of the ocean (large bodies of water in general), so I tend to not think about ocean life all that much.

3. A polar bear! <3 Or a wolf pup. There's so many animals I want, LOL.

4. Dogs. I'm allergic to cats anyways.

5. Grasshoppers are freaky. I hate how they look, how they jump out at you... I'm grossed out by just thinking about it!

6. There's WAY too many cute animals to count!

Epic Pizza Hat

Hi Jammers! I'm sorry for such a late post. School and tennis have been kind of stressful lately. :T

Anywho, a recent discovery of a new ''unreleased'' item was made. This item is called an epic pizza hat, which is basically the pizza hat but with more slices. Pretty self-explanatory, right?

Here's what it looks like on a giraffe:

Personally I wouldn't want a slice of pizza hanging by three thin strings of cheese dangling by the side of my head, but you know... :p

The big question is, where did this mysterious item come from? Is it really ''unreleased''?

Well, apparently you can obtain this item through a promo code when you purchase the Lucky Vonotter Animal Jam toy.

I don't believe it was released with the first original wave of figurines and may have reached stores later. That's probably why not many people own the epic pizza hat but what seems like thousands own, say, the fancy beret.

Today I'm going to be answering graciepopstar91's Animal Jam Tag, since I've got nothin' better to do. Tags seem to be all the rage these days, haha. :P

1. My purple glove, or gloves in general. I just love gloves! LOL!

How to Change an Item to Magenta *PATCHED?*

*I'm pretty sure this glitch has been patched, but if not please let me know ASAP or confirm that it has indeed been fixed!*

Hey there! c:

Lately there's been a lot of talk over this new glitch that occurred yesterday with several items. These items were not normal, obviously, but they were all one solid color; and that color was magenta.

If you're wondering how these Jammers obtained these glitched items (other than by trading... at least I think you can trade them?), I'm here to show you! Unfortunately AJHQ patched part of the glitch so that you can no longer purchase these magenta items, but I still think this method is pretty cool to try out.

First, go to a shop and click on an item that has no color palette. Epic Wonders is one example of a great shop to look for these kinds of items.

Now change the category to either price or alphabetical order. Either one works.

Once you've done that, search through the catalog and find an item that is highlighted - for example, this cosmic necklace shown in the picture below.

First make sure the highlighted item has a color palette, then go ahead and click on any color from the palette. It doesn't matter which color you choose. After that switch the category again.

Now go back to the item you originally chose (for me it was the golden samurai helmet), click on it, and then click on the little magnifying glass on the top left to zoom in.

Voila! Your magenta item has been created! Try clicking on ''BUY'' and this little message pops up:

Kind of disappointing, but it's for the best, I suppose.

Magenta Spiked Collar!?

Hey everyone! ^.^

A Jammer recently made a discovery about a player named pillowcloud. If you just take a glance at their animals you can see that their arctic wolf is wearing a spiked collar, but not just any spiked collar...

... it's COMPLETELY magenta!

Now, we all know that magenta is pretty much the ''glitch'' color of the game, but what could have caused this unusual circumstance? Could there be a new spiked collar color hiding under all of that raspberry coloring, or is it just a glitch?

The First Day of School

The first day of school went okay, I guess. Nothing too exciting, but nothing too disappointing, either.

I remember last year was a whole lot different. It was AWFUL. Our bus driver forgot to pick us up, our stupid French teacher was... well, stupid, etc.

This year nothing really bad or good happened. Now we'll just have to see how the rest of the school year goes.

Unfortunately she's not very active on either of her channels anymore, but her videos are still worth a watch.

Important Blog Updates

Hey y'all. I have some pretty important things I need to discuss in this post, so please listen up.

The school year starts tomorrow for me, and some of you know that I am going into high school. My grades are going to start counting towards college, which means I need to be at the top of my game. I'm also on the tennis team this year, and that means I'm going to be having after-school practices and matches throughout the next month.

Because I fear I may very well be fairly busy, I don't know if I'm going to keep up with daily posts. That doesn't mean I won't be posting at all, of course; I'll still be posting, just not as often as I have.

I will try my best to post as often as possible, but you can't expect posts every single day from here on out. I think you get the picture, right?

Oh, and also - I'm discontinuing the AJ Spotlight series until further notice. The final (for now) volume will be issued out tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

Animal Engravings

What Kind of Animal is Zios?

Hi Jammers! ^.^ Welcome back to the AJW for another post! I hope you've all had a great weekend.

Today we're going to be talking about the creators of Jamaa: Mira and Zios.

A description of Mira and Zios (according to ancient lore) reads:

"And so it was that the Sky Father was named Zios.

He created many stars and planets, and set them in motion.

But after eons of creation, he became lonely. So he created the

Sky Mother, a grey heron, and named her Mira. 

Mira was beautiful and kind and they were very happy together.

She loved Zios deeply and often told him how talented he was,

encouraging him to create. Together, Zios and Mira created their masterpiece: a lush land filled with oceans, mountains, meadows, and all kinds of plants and animals."

As you can see, the passage says that Mira is a grey heron. Here's a comparison of her character to the animal she's based off of:

You can see the similarities fairly easily, right?

But what the passage DOESN'T say is what animal Zios is.

Let's do a little research now, shall we?

We're going to be time traveling back into the beta days.

When Animal Jam was released to the public, in the heart of the Lost Temple of Zios sat a fallen Zios sculpture that seemingly crashed into a pit. This landmark is known as the Zios pit.

But during the beta days, in the pit's spot was a statue of a monkey. With a weird-looking crown on. Sittin' on a throne.

This brought me to the conclusion that Zios is most likely a monkey!
