My Purple Glove Story

Hello! This post is going to be similar to a post I made a couple of weeks ago. Remember how I talked about my animals and their old outfits? Today, I am going to be talking about how I received my very special purple glove.

Believe it or not, gloves were super rare back then. No one cared about spikes or headdresses; just gloves (and top hats). People went crazy for them because they were so sought after.

Well, since I was fairly new to Animal Jam, I had no clue that gloves were rare. Heck, I didn't even know what "rare" meant. Sometimes I wished it stayed that way. XD

Anyway, I was just finishing up a little painting of mine in the Art Studio when all of a sudden two wolves approached me.

One of the wolves was DarkDragonGirl12. The other wolf was Gwenandkat.

"Are you new to Animal Jam?" they asked me. I said, "Yes."

"Oh, well, we'd be glad to answer any questions you have!" they exclaimed with a smile.

Earlier that day, I was in Jamaa Township and saw a big crowd of Jammers dancing and hopping around shouting, "TRADE ME GLOVES!"

I thought to myself, I wonder what gloves are.

Now was my chance to get an answer!

So I asked them, "What are gloves?"

They explained the whole trading process to me and everything I needed to know about gloves. Dragon and Gwen were too kind!

When I was positive that Dragon and Gwen couldn't give me anymore wonderful advice or assistance, a Jam-A-Gram appeared in my mailbox. Yes, this was during the time Non-Members could still accept gifts.

I opened it, and inside it was . . .

. . .  A PURPLE GLOVE!!!

I was FLATTERED!

Dragon had just sent me a PURPLE GLOVE. A GLOVE! And who was I? Nothing but an innocent, oblivious, brown Non-Member wolf.

And DarkDragonGirl12 had just sent me a GLOVE, one of the rarest items in the ENTIRE GAME!

Compared to people in the present, most Jammers won't even give a crap about new players. But this single act of kindness brought us three wolves together as best friends.

To wrap up this post, I will leave you with a small inquiry:

Spooky Party!?

We all know that updates often come with a glitch or two. This update seemingly brought the Spooky Party back to life! o.o

Raspberry Tiger Glitch Tutorial

Hello! ^.^ Today I finally have something interesting to post. :p

First off, my good friend awesomepanda868 stopped by for a visit yesterday! We had a lovely chat on the boardwalk in Kimbara Outback.

My deer is the one without the skirt. :3

I don't usually post the new item, but this new item is just too awesome to resist buying!

The new item is a Cotton Candy Hat! I thought it was ice cream until I read the little label. owo It's so worth the 2,000 tickets.

Now for the important stuff! Well, I guess meeting Panda was important, too. And the cotton candy hat.

Courtesy of my other good friend Mesha336, I bring you the fabulous Raspberry Tiger Glitch!

The steps are easy to do and can be completed within a minute or so.

Step 1: Go to any ocean land and switch to a dolphin, sea turtle, octopus, or shark.

Step 2: Open the Parties menu and go to the Best Guess Game.

Voila! Take a look at the wonderful results:

I am now a raspberry tiger! O.O Can you find me? x3

Sometimes the glitch will glitch up even more, and your pelt won't be a solid magenta.

How peculiar... and cool! :D

Lack of Interest = New Posting Schedule

Hmm. How should I begin this?

Let's see now. Basically, I have lost about 75% of my interest in Animal Jam.

Reasons? It's just not fun anymore.

There's nothing left to do but to talk to buddies. Sadly, I don't have the time to chat with buddies all day long.

And don't even get me started on what there is left to post about.

I log on daily with hope that there might be a new discovery to make, but then I log off a few minutes later to go play a different game, or to do something else like play tennis or ride my bicycle.

Believe me, once you get to be my age, there will be more important things to worry about, and more fun things to do.

Animal Jam is not the same game it used to be, that's for sure.

I had a lot of ideas for the blog this summer, including another plushie comic blog, tons of awesome pages, more contests, more graphics, a movement, more of this, and more of that. But all of this is no longer possible because I am too busy with... life.

I like life and I want to live it.

Even though it's not fair sometimes, of course.

Right now, I am more interested in other things. I have a season pass to an amusement park, I am taking tennis clinics with the high school tennis coach, and I have plenty of other camps and what not to do.

Animal Jam is not one of my top priorities. It would have been in the past, but now I regret that.

Since many of you may think I am quitting or something absolutely terrible like that (sarcasm, if you will), I am not. I am simply saying that I will not be playing Animal Jam nor blogging about it as often as I have.

Speaking of blogging, it seems like the Animal Jam community is convinced that running an AJ blog means that you have to post daily.

Blogging is not posting daily. In fact, it is far from it.

I know some bloggers that only post a couple times a month. I want to be one of those laid-back, relaxed bloggers that post 2-3 times a week.

Well, anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post. You can expect less posts from me now, and less gaming time, while we're at it.

Jamaa Journal: Summer Carnival, Appondale Theater, and New Animal!

Hey Jammers! I totally spaced this update day. Thursdays blow my mind. :P Let's see if this update is even worth posting about.

The Summer Carnival has made its return! ^.^ You can access the Summer Carnival from your Parties menu, or by clicking the little banners set up around Jamaa.

Everything, the items, the layout, is the same, except for its new icon shown above, as well as a few quaint logs sitting around a burning campfire and a bounce house.

You can find these two new additions on the left side of the park.

More questions have been added to the popular trivia game Best Guessed, so be sure to play it when it rolls around! c:

Say hello to the Appondale Theater! Here you can watch Animal Jam's hit animated video clips. They're great for cheering up if you're ever feeling down. The theater is located in the Conservation Museum on the far left side.

May we wish the best of luck to the otters! They've begun their travels, so don't expect to see them in the Diamond Shop for a while. But don't worry, if you already have an otter, you can still play as it. :)

A secret image is hiding somewhere around Jamaa, and it reveals an animal that is soon to be released! *SPOILER ALERT*:

The new animal is a llama! Remember our good friend 1231? Was that his username? o.o He owned the first llama. At least we have a glimpse of what our llamas will look like. Oh, and you can find this llama painting in Canyons Pathway.

New Party Date

Hey Jammers. It turns out Wednesday was not a very good day for me to host a party, so I've changed the date to this Friday, same place and time. Sorry, I'm just too busy these days! This whole month of June I am going to be mostly absent. The first week of June I have a tennis clinic with the high school tennis coach, and the second week is packed with a special writing camp for smart kids (haha :P). The third week is another tennis clinic, and the fourth week is Girl's Camp. See? BUSY AS A BEE! "Bzzzz". x3

All around Jamaa, you can find little animals waddling around, in the oceans and on land. They're just so cute! I think they'd make great pets, don't you?

Webkinz Magic Mire Glitch

Have you ever wanted to know how to get an unlimited number of tries at Magic Mire in the Magical Forest in Webkinz? Follow these simple steps to learn how!

Step 1: Enter the Magical Forest from your Map of Kinzville or the Things To Do list.

Make sure you're playing in the early afternoon or morning for efficiency.

Step 2: Click on the Magic Mire icon.

I believe you need either a current or previous Deluxe Membership in order to play Magic Mire.

Step 3: Choose a path.

There are four paths: the candy path, the cave path, the flower path, and the winter path.

Step 4: Click on a fairy with the magic wand.

Use the arrows to look around for fairies!

Step 5: Receive your prize.

You could win food, clothes, charms, keys, Pixie Pod Pachinko seeds, or items for your house!

Step 6: Relax and chill out until the wait time for another turn is over.

I'm pretty sure the wait time is about 8 hours, am I correct?

Step 7: Repeat steps 1-5.

You're done with the tutorial!

From now on, you will have infinite tries at Magic Mire until you log out (I think). This glitch works best if you have a faster computer, but it is somewhat compatible with slow computers, too. Many Webkinz players (including myself) have completed their charm collection with the help of this handy-dandy glitch. Good luck and have fun!

The #1 Most Annoying Glitch in Jamaa

You and your friend are talking at your den. He calls you from behind.

"Come to my den. I have something important to tell you."

"Okay!" you reply with excitement and curiosity.

You slowly mouse over his black player tag. You hesitate for a moment, then, with a sudden click, a player card appears.

You eyeball the card, in search of a button. A button that will transport you away to a paradise of pixels. An escape from reality... merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a screen.

You find the button, and with another sudden click, the screen changes within a flash. Now you no longer see your home sweet home. Instead, you see a loading screen.

But all happiness fades away as fast as the click, when a dreadful, awful, nefarious pop-up bulletin appears before you:

"LOGIN WORLD ERROR! RELOAD THE PAGE AND TRY AGAIN!"

These nine words enter your mind rapidly. Once you realize what is wrong, you tilt back in your chair, hands in your hair, in total despair. You yowl and bellow in pain and sorrow, "WHY COULDN'T THIS HAVE HAPPENED TOMORROW!?"
